Walt Disney Records Teams Up with runDisney to Create Training Playlists

From registration to booking your travel to creating your costumes, there’s a lot that goes into a runDisney race weekend.

Then there’s the training. I’ll admit, training is never the easiest part, but there’s nothing like a good playlist for motivation! I’m excited to introduce a new way to get prepared for your next runDisney race – themed running playlists! We’ve teamed up with Walt Disney Records to compile songs for Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend and Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.

The experts at Walt Disney Records picked a variety of songs, which really set the tone for each race weekend. Each playlist is already loaded in Spotify through the links provided below. Whether you listen to the playlist while you are running, packing or on the plane to the event or just want to listen to a great playlist, we have a few for you! Go to Spotify.com to sign in or sign up for an account and check out the Walt Disney Records profile for more Disney playlists! Below are the playlists you can find once you login.

  • ugh…hate Spotify. Can we just get a list of the songs?

  • I didn’t have Spotify before today, but that was super easy to download and find based on the excellent advice from other users. I used the “Found it! Type “128899670” into the search bar for Spotify, the click on “Walt Disney Records” under profiles.” and got right in – I’m listening now and getting way more work done!
    Thanks!!!

  • Any playlist for WDW marathon weekend as training has already begun for it as well? Awesome idea by the way!

  • I do not subscribe to Spotify, will they be offered on Apple Music???? #rundisney

  • Can someone tell me how to get these on my IPod? I have an Ipod touch 4 and I tunes acct and a spoify acct.

  • Here are the direct links to our newest playlists!

  • Found it! Type “128899670” into the search bar for Spotify, the click on “Walt Disney Records” under profiles.

  • when you click search and enter walt disney records, at the bottom it says profiles. click there and you will find the trainings

  • CORRECTION ! CLICK ON THE WALT DISNEY RECORDS PROFILE AND IT TAKE YOU RIGHT TO IT IN SPOTIFY AND ONCE LOGGED IN YOU ARE TAKEN RIGHT TO THE PROFILE. SORRY

  • I can’t find them either. And I don’t see any links above.

  • For those looking for the playlist, i believe i have found it. In spotify, in the search box type RUNDISNEY. A result should popup “runDisney training playlist”. last i checked it was 20 songs and says created by Walt Disney Records. Hope this helps.

  • Love the idea of playlists – but not finding them on Spotify

  • I don’t see any of these three playlists, just a generic runDisney training playlist. When will they be available?

  • What happened to the links?

  • No playlist in Spotify. Any help would be appreciated DisneyParks

  • ditto

  • I must be missing something because I don’t see any of these playlists on the Walt Disney Records Spotify profile. There is a single RunDisney training playlist, but no race-specific playlists as far as I can tell.

  • Where are the links? I was having trouble clicking on anything that worked.

  • Thanks for this. BTW I’ll raise my hand as another vote for Apple Music!

  • I don’t see anything in Spotify.

  • Here are a few of my favorite Disney running tracks: Dig a Little Deeper – Princess and the Frog, Run Llama Run – Emperor’s New Groove, I’m Me – Phineas and Ferb, Kick it up a Notch – Phineas and Ferb, I’ll Make a Man Out of You – Mulan, When Can I See You Again – Wreck-It Ralph, and Sugar Rush – Wreck-It Ralph. I like it when the music has a fast beat and it’s good if the lyrics are about kicking butt or being awesome.

  • I was working on something similar, can we get these playlists added to Apple Music, for those of us who don’t use Spotify.
