Update: This live event has concluded. Please enjoy the replay below!

In just a few minutes, we’ll present our next Inside #DisneyParksLIVE event right here on the Disney Parks Blog: a celebration of the Main Street Electrical Parade, live from Magic Kingdom Park.

This nighttime parade will officially end its run at the Walt Disney World Resort on October 9 (before it heads out to Disneyland park in California). We hope you’ll be able to experience Main Street Electrical Parade in person before it departs, but if not, we have you covered with tonight’s live event. The parade will step off at the park at 9:05 p.m. ET, but we’ll be live just minutes before to hear some behind-the-scenes stories and share some favorite memories of this long-running procession.

What are some of your most cherished moments from the parade? Tell us in the “Comments” section below and we just may feature some during the broadcast.

  • I’ve seen most of the live streams and they’ve all been great. Unfortunately, this time, I have to agree with everybody who was disappointed that we missed about half the parade due to interviews. Host chats before and after are great, but when you have them in the middle and we miss floats that were shown/promoted in the open (like captain hook, snow white, dwarfs, cinderella, etc.) it makes you want a do-over. Thanks for listening.

  • my favorite memory is watching the parade from the eyes of my grand sons for the first time when they were 11months and 4 yrs old. I cried.

  • Thanks for the stream of the Parade! I really enjoyed this opportunity to feel connected to the parks without actually being physically at the parks. Hopefully more of these types of opportunities keep coming!

  • Thank you guys for doing these great events. We look forward to continued improvement of your video and audio streaming. The short segment you had on the history of the parade was wonderful and left us wanting more. The interviews would be great after an uninterrupted streaming of the show. We would have enjoyed hearing the characters in the parade; Pete and Alice as examples. And, we would have loved to see live POV video as per your earlier blog.

  • I wish you would consider a redo of the live stream so we could see the whole parade. This is not at all what we expected. Very disappointed to not be able to view the entire parade from the perspective of being there. I have loved the other “live” events you’ve done in the past. Please only interview before or after the event you are showcasing. Thank you for your consideration.
