If you’re new to Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning, our “Welcome to Our World!” series is a great way to learn all about the various offerings and events that are available during your visit. This week’s spotlight is on Disney PhotoPass Service.

Disney PhotoPass Service is the picture-perfect way to capture magical vacation memories in great photos — and get everyone in the shot!

It’s as easy as saying “cheese.” Simply visit any Disney PhotoPass Photographer and let us snap away. The Photographer will link your photos to your Disney account with the touch of your MagicBand. If you don’t have a MagicBand, the Photographer will provide you with a Disney PhotoPass Card containing your photos that you can link to your account.

Then, throughout your vacation, you can do it again and again and again. We’ve chosen all the best backdrops for the magic! Our Photographers are located around many Disney icons, at most Character Experience locations, select dining locations, and at both water parks from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We even have cameras in place to capture your reaction on some of your favorite attractions!

Best yet, since you aren’t taking the shots yourself, everyone can be in the picture…together! That’s sure to make you smile.

Accessing your memories is easy too. You can use the My Disney Experience mobile app* to preview and purchase your Disney PhotoPass photos, or you can do so at You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to find Disney PhotoPass Photographer locations and link your Disney PhotoPass card(s) to your account.

Want to get the most out of Disney PhotoPass Service? When you purchase Memory Maker, you can snap up unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads of your Walt Disney World vacation memories, including:

  • All your Disney PhotoPass photos, including Character Experiences and Magic Shots
  • PhotoPass photos from select attraction and dining locations
  • Animated Magic Shots and videos from select attractions**

Forget about having to purchase each photo individually – you can get digital copies of them all!

We hope you get the picture! Now focus on this – when you purchase Memory Maker in advance, you’ll save $20 off the regular price. Please note that if Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within three days of purchase will not be included in the entitlement and must be purchased separately. Memory Maker can be purchase online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

  • I’ve used the memory maker twice and really have enjoyed it. I love the short video clips from the Tower of Terror and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and hope that more rides will be added – hopefully from the last scene in the Haunted Mansion where the ghosts follow you home. The magic shots are fun too. I’m still trying to find the Yeti and Animal Kingdom! Maybe next trip. to answer Gloria’s question, yes, you can print out the pictures. If I recall correctly, Disney gives you their release of the photos just in case you are asked.
