For many guests, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a highlight of a visit to Magic Kingdom Park during the fall. The party’s characters, fireworks – not to mention you and your family in costume – makes for some great photo opportunities. During each party, Disney PhotoPass offers special themed photo stops in select locations that you won’t want to miss. Here’s a sneak peek of the Magic Shots and Animated Magic Shots available only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party…
There’s no need to go all the way to Sleepy Hollow to get this spooky shot. During the party, visit the Disney PhotoPass photographer at the Main Entrance of Magic Kingdom Park to get this party-exclusive shot.
A Grim Grinning Ghost comes out to socialize at the hearse in front of the Haunted Mansion.
An adorable pumpkin patch welcomes guests to the park entrance during this time of year. A Disney PhotoPass Photographer is ready and waiting in Town Square to help you get this shot.
The spooks are coming out for a swinging wake! Visit a Disney PhotoPass Photographer on Main Street, U.S.A. for this ghoulish delight.
Remember, you can view Animated Magic Shots in your account before they expire, but you must have an active Memory Maker or Memory Maker One Day entitlement to download and share them online.

I have not seen anywhere on the Disney PhotoPass Service on Facebook where they are posting what the magic shots are at Disneyland during the parties. Can you provide that information? The first party has already past.
Thanks
My question: are the photo shoots only available during the parties or are they available during the day?
Love this idea. Will use it when I go to the Halloween party. Can’t wait!!!
Can the information about Disneyland be listed elsewhere besides Facebook for those who do not have it?
Is there still a Hitchiking Ghosts magic shot?
Yes! During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party a PhotoPass Photographer in Liberty Square will be taking that Magic Shot.
How do I get the Memory Maker One Day entitlement? Do I have to activate it and download the pictures the day of the party? Any info would be appreciated – thanks!!
Memory Maker One Day is available for purchase in the My Disney Experience mobile app after you have taken PhotoPass photos. You do not have to purchase this product on the same day you take photos, but be sure to do so before your photos from that day expire!
And I have the same question about the availability of this at Disneyland! If anyone knows, can you please post a response? It is much appreciated. 🙂 BOO to YOU!
Hi Emily! I love the special magic shots that are done every year for MNSSHP! I have some questions, though. First, can you clarify exactly where the Sleepy Hollow magic shot PhotoPass Photographers will be? Just outside the MagicBand entry touch points after bag check? Or inside the MagicBand entry touch points, within the park by the railroad station topiary display? Because that photo in the article looked like it was taken in Liberty Square.
Second, will the poison apple cauldron magic shot be back again from last year? If yes, where will it be located?
Lastly, do you know if there will be any magic shots or animated shots at Mickey’s Halloween Party in Disneyland this year? Will there be an article on the Blog about that? Thanks for all your help!
Hi Lauren! You can get the scary-good Headless Horseman Magic Shot when you visit the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed just past the entry touch points, before you pass through the tunnel to enter Main Street, U.S.A.
As for the cauldron/apple Magic Shot, our PhotoPass photographers who roam all around the park will be taking that shot. You can also keep an eye out for these roaming PhotoPass photographers if you’re along the parade route waiting for it to start, as they love to capture the pre-parade excitement!
Will they also have the cauldron and the poison apple magic shot?
Will this be happening in Disneyland during Halloween time as well? 🙂
What about Disneyland and Mickey’s Halloween Time Party? Will they have the same photo opportunities?
We’re still finalizing plans for the Halloween-themed Magic Shots and Animated Magic Shots we’re planning to unearth at Disneyland this fall! We’ll announce those shots and where you can find them on the Disney PhotoPass Service Facebook page closer to the start of the first Mickey’s Halloween Party on September 23.
Is there going to be anything like this at disneyland?
