The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival returns to Walt Disney World Resort from September 14 to November 14, 2016. I recently shared a preview of commemorative products created for this event in a Disney Parks Blog Unboxed video. Today, I have a look at the Festival Center in Future World which houses demonstrations, wine tastings, a merchandise shop and more.

Festival Center Merchandise from the 2016 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

The Festival Center is open every day during the festival this year and can be found between Mission: SPACE and Universe of Energy. As in previous years, we have a themed merchandise shop set up inside the location.

In the shop, guests will find a variety of the items I previously discussed in the Disney Parks Blog Unboxed video including apparel, home décor, headware, and more. You can also find a specially designed Disney Gift Card that’s a perfect companion for enjoying a day at the Festival.

I love all of the Figment products this year including an apron, ornament, oven mitt, and t-shirts. There will also be a salt and pepper shaker trashcans that have both chef Figment and the event merchandise logo.

New this year is a wine glass by TERVIS. We will also have stemmed and stemless wine glasses sold in two-packs. The Festival Center also has an extensive wine shop that also offers wines created for this annual event.

New Minnie Mouse-Inspired Headband to the Made with Magic Collection

Finally, guests can use Made with Magic items during the Eat to the Beat concert series this year. We have recently introduced a new Minnie Mouse-inspired headband to the Made with Magic collection. You may recall that we introduced Made with Magic last fall in World Showcase (see this video for details).

Chef Mickey charm by PANDORA Jewelry

Guests may find Festival merchandise at the Festival Center and in select merchandise locations throughout Epcot. The Chef Mickey charm by PANDORA Jewelry will only be found in Mouse Gear for about a week. Then it will be shared with additional locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Select items (excluding the Dooney & Bourke handbags created for this event) may be found on the Shop Disney Parks mobile app.

I hope to see you at Epcot!

  • Stemless wine glasses are perfect, and I didn’t find them at Disney World on our last visit. Will they be carried after the event since we will be there for Christmas this year?

  • Hi Steven,

I just love your “Disney Parks Unboxed Videos”. The Halloween video was awesome! I really look forward to those! Happy Belated Birthday from Southwestern Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh).

    • @Lisa – Thank you for the kind words and the birthday wishes! Many of my relatives live in southwestern Pennsylvania so it’s great to hear from you 🙂 Look for additional Disney Parks Blog Unboxed videos this fall.

  • I’m headed there in 12 days! (Not that I’m counting or anything…haha). And I have two questions that I hope you can help me answer!! I’m so excited!
    1) I saw that you said there is a 16 tab option. Do you know how much that sampler option costs? 2) Do you know what is excluded from the sampler this year?
I tried to call and get these answers and no one could answer either question. 🙁 Thank you!!

    • @Jessica – The 16 tab option is $109 plus tax. The 8 tab option is $59 plus tax. I would invite you to check the in-store display for the exclusions.

  • Any chance of some Wonders Of Life tributes ever being put in the Festival Center?

    • @John – I’m not aware of such plans. I did, however, enjoy looking at the ceiling when I was photographing the shop. 🙂

  • With the arrival of Food & Wine, I think it must also be time for Steven’s birthday! Happy, happy birthday to you, Steven! We love following your posts throughout the year.

    • @Jennifer – Thank you for the best wishes and kind words 🙂 You are correct – it’s on Saturday.

  • Will Mickey be available in the app?

    • @Travis – I’m not aware of plans at this time.

  • Well it’s a good thing we booked an Eat to the Beat Dining Package! Thanks so much for checking!

  • It’s Miller time! Mr Miller is the best!

  • Can’t wait to get there and start shopping! Do you know if the Tasting Sampler (w/8 credentials, lanyard & pin) includes a reserved seat for the Eat to the Beat concert on the day of purchase? Last year I ordered them online and it did. This year it seems you have to purchase them at the Festival Center and I don’t see any mention of the reserved concert seat.

    • @Christy – I spoke with the event team who said the Eat to the Beat concert seating is not included in the Tasting Sampler this year. We do have two options: 8 tabs or 16 tabs, both with a commemorative trading pin. Tasting Samplers can be purchased at Festival Merchandise locations throughout Epcot.
