All-New Holiday Nighttime Spectacular “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort

Great garland – Santa Claus is missing!

And the search-and-rescue mission to get The Big Guy back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve is all part of the fun in the all-new “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” holiday spectacular coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios November 14. The show comes to life on, above and around the Chinese Theater with state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and a rousing seasonal musical score.

New Holiday Nighttime Spectacular ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam!’ Announced For Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Led by elves Wayne and Lanny, the duo from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” the spirited yuletide adventure to the North Pole features memorable holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and more, all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”

And did I mention there will be snow?

A sweet way to enjoy this new holiday spectacular is with the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, which includes reserved viewing, desserts, specialty beverages and more. Each dessert party guest will get a pair of 3D HoloSpex® glasses to use while watching the show. The glasses create spectacular holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments on any bright point of light.

Memorable, heartwarming, and enchanting for the entire family these one-of-a-kind holiday experiences will dazzle Disney’s Hollywood Studio guests through December 31.

What holiday experiences are you most looking forward to at Disney Parks?

Comments

  • I just got off Disneyworld site and the dessert party (for one person) costs $69.99. I hope this clears up confusion about pricing. The dessert party starts at 5:45.

  • Wow, this should spice up DHS’s holiday offerings a lot, especially after the closure of the Osborne lights. If you aren’t going to the dessert party, can you buy HoloSpex glasses separately?
Hopefully this will give people more things to do at DHS after dark. Will the dessert party prices be along the lines of the Wishes! party, or less expensive? Will this show be held in the coming years during the season, because we are planning a trip for 2018-19.

  • I will be in the parks 12/30/16-1/5/17. Trying to organize dining, etc.
Any clue if this is shown multiple times a night like Osbourne Lights was? Considering going to Fantasmic & Jingle Bells, Jingle Bam both on the 31st.

  • Will it be posible to watch this and fantasmic the same day?

  • I’m so excited. I just booked the dessert party for Nov 22nd! I know this isn’t the much loved and much missed Spectacle of Lights but it is something new and neat to look forward to!

  • From what the dining CM told me last night, they are only booking through December 10th now.

  • Hello Everyone,

I just hung up with Disney and I hopes this helps with the confusion regarding booking the Dessert Party the Dessert Party runs until December 10th you can call to book reservations; however after December the 10th the Dessert Party will no longer be apart of the show but the fireworks and show will still be available without the fee of the Dessert party. I will be there the week of Christmas and all you have to do is be near the Chinese Theatre to view the show with no additional fee involved.

  • Called first thing this morning, already sold out for our weekend of Nov.18-20th. So disappointed, announcement was just released yesterday. (I read about it late last night!!!). ?

  • @Barbara Bowman, the dessert party entitles you to desserts, 3-D glass and a reserved viewing section. You can view the show from most anywhere else as long as you are able to see the chinese theater. I don’t think the 3-D glasses will be enough alone to justify paying extra to get it.

@Mary Laub, you do not have to pay for the dessert party to see the show. Go to the center stage area about 1 1/2 to 2 hr (or depending how many people already waiting in the center stage) prior to the show and ask a cast member which area will be closed off. If you show up early enough, there should be plenty of space for you to pick and choose a spot to view from. As long as you can see the chinese theater, it should be fine.

  • So while everyone can enjoy the show only those that pay $$ for the dessert party get the special glasses. Yet again prime viewing locations being taken up for those willing to pay for it. As if the people who have APs or go multiple times a month don’t pay enough to Disney. I remember a time, prior to the dessert parties, when AP holder could get special glasses for the Osborne Lights which was a nice treat for AP holders.

  • Do you have to go to the dessert party to see the show? Advertisement is confusing?

    • Hi Mary, you do not have to attend the dessert party to see the show. The dessert party is an additional sweet way to enjoy the experience.

  • This looks interesting, but not amazing like the Osbourne lights. I agree with another poster; a brief show can not be compared to the immersive experience of being surrounded by Christmas lights. Until an immersive dancing light display and Star Wars Weekends return, Hollywood Studios will be incomplete. I am glad to see no mention of Frozen, for once.

  • I am confused. If my family wants to see JINGLR BELL JINGLE BAM, can we sit and watch the fireworks without the dessert party? Do the only people paying $69 get to have the glasses to make it better? The desert party will not be possible for us as we are bad diabetics!! Can we go into the part and enjoy something without having to pay big bucks??

    • HI Barbara,
Absolutely you can enjoy Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! without participating in the dessert party. The 3D HoloSpex® glasses are available to dessert party guests.

  • What an exciting and unexpected announcement! While I’ll miss the millions of dazzling lights at the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, I look forward to what this new experience has to bring!

  • Just booked for Nov 23rd a few minutes ago. Only waited on the phone for 3-5 minutes.

  • I just got tickets for 11/23!!! I’m so excited!

  • @Dana Roberts
I booked at the end of November, the 30th. I was told to arrive at 5:45 p.m. for the dessert party. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! starts at 6:45 p.m. Hope this helps.

  • Okay and now my wife called and got tickets on the 17th Whew. Long wait times on the phone today. Sorry for any confusion

  • Ugh no way i called this morning they said everyday was sold out

  • @Brian Leonard…not sure who you got your information from. But I just booked the dessert party for 11/20.

  • Any chance they might have an early opening?? We will be in Disney Nov. 3-9th?

  • So excited for this! I was hoping the old Osborne lights would turn up somewhere but this is pretty awesome!

  • Any word on if the Star Wars fireworks will start back up in January?

    • Kayla, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular resumes nightly presentations starting January 1.

  • I was able to get tickets for Nov.27. Keep trying 🙂

  • Booked! But still confused on time!? In November it shows up on my confirmation as 8pm? So not sure what time I should check in..anyone else book during the end of November?

  • So exciting! I love Prep & Landing!!

  • Just got off the phone and they are only booking through December 10th. They had no idea when they would release other dates. Prices are $69 for adults and $39 for kids. She had no idea when they would get it set up online.

  • We are in Disney from Nov 17-27 and the dessert party is already sold out each night

  • How much is the dessert party?

  • Just booked the dessert package… Yay!!!

  • BOOKED! Looks lovely. Thanks Disney for giving us something magical to look forward to at the Hollywood Studios.

  • Sooo excited to see Wayne, Lanny and Prep & Landing getting some love!! I would love to see another Prep & Landing TV special to go with it. 🙂 We will definitely be seeing this show when we visit in December!

  • Sorry, no Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, no thank you.

  • It’s very frustrating when you spend 35 minutes on hold to find out that reservations are only available between 11/14-12/10 at this time. If you announce it is going to be available through 12/31, you really need to actually make it available to reserve through that date!

  • I called Disney Dining and they said that reservations for the “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Dessert Party” are available for booking now.

  • Booked the dessert party!

  • How do we make reservations for the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party?

  • Night time. 😉 Sorry couldn’t resist. @Charlee

  • Is Hollywood studios planning to still have the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular as well during this period?

    • Peter, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will run nightly instead of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular until December 31. On New Year’s Eve, we will have both shows, and then Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular resumes nightly presentations starting January 1.

  • Way to go Disney. The week I’m going there’s no Star Wars fireworks, no holiday BAM BAM (what the heck kind of name is this) show, no Rivers of Light, no Dinosaur, no Big Thunder, no Rock and roll. UGH!

  • It looks like it will be held at 6:45pm and you can call 407-WDW-Dine and book the Dessert Party now!!

  • I am so excited about this!!! We have a trip planned in December and will juggle our plans around to make it so we can see the show!

  • Will Frozen be included as well?

  • I’m just excited to see Prep & Landing included! That is one of my all time favorite Christmas specials!!!!

  • How do I book the desert party?

  • Well, this is awful. We booked our trip (a year ago), and had specifically been looking forward to the attending the Star Wars dessert party and Fireworks. Now, we find out that less that a month out, you have changed one of our most anticipated event into something we are not in the least bit interested in. I guess now, we’ll save that money and go to another park. My opinion, of course, but very disappointing!

  • When will the dessert party be available to start reserving?

  • Do you know when the online booking will begin for the Holiday Dessert Party?

  • When the show ends it’s run will a new show take it’s place or will the Star Wars show return?

    • Tim, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will run nightly instead of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular until December 31. On New Year’s Eve, we will have both shows, and then Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular resumes nightly presentations starting January 1.

  • What time will this occur at the parks?
