As we kick off the 45th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort today, I have some exciting news about our Passholder program during this anniversary year that includes new dining and merchandise discounts, and a special offer just for this celebratory year.

We know you’ll want to celebrate our 45th anniversary year in a special way too, so how about with an extra month of magic? Starting tomorrow, Oct. 2, guests who are purchasing a 12-month annual pass will be able to enjoy an extra month. That’s right, 13 months for the price of 12! New passes must be purchased between Oct. 2, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2017. Prices vary depending on the type of pass you select: Weekday Select, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus.

And starting today, all year in honor of our 45th, Walt Disney World passholders will receive 20 percent off the price of food and non-alcoholic beverages at 45 participating theme park and resort hotel restaurants. Through Sept. 30, 2017, passholders can take advantage of this special offer at restaurants like Jiko – The Cooking Place, or family dining restaurants such as Jungle Skipper Canteen, or quick service options like D-Luxe Burger. And don’t worry – you have a whole year to try them all!

Another delicious passholder discount is 10 percent off food and nonalcoholic beverages at select table-service restaurants at theme parks and resort hotels.

Like shopping? Passholders will now get 20 percent off purchases at Disney owned-and-operated merchandise locations.

  • When I received my annual pass, earlier this month, the castmember advised me to check the website for the most up-to-date information. Unfortunately, Stitch appears to have eaten those pages. Any idea when they’ll be fixed? I’m trying to plan a May visit.

    Sorry for Typos

  • I have been looking for this info online for 3 months also. We arrived in Disney 3 days ago and after a 35 minute phone conversation with a cast member and a 5 minute chat at Guest relations at Epcot who also encountered Stitch eating their page, I eventually went to the front desk at Beach Club where a cast member was able to print out the list of restaurants for me. I returned to my resort still unable to use the website and/or links from their suggested website. Unfortunately I don’t see a way to upload pics of the six pages I was given

  • This question has been asked multiple times, however, I do not see a reply. Here we go, again…how can I access the participating dining and retail for the AP, as the site is not working. I realize I will receive this when I pick up my pass at the park. However, I am attempting to plan prior. Thanks!

  • How come none of the links to any of the passholder benefits work? Where do I find the list of restaurants and the discounts provided, because the link provided has been eaten by stitch.

  • Why does the link to annual passholders never work?

  • Do you have to activate the annual pass by Jan 3 or just buy it by that date?

  • The link for the list of restaurants that are 20% off is still not working…any help??

  • I went to renew mine today (it expires on 10/26) and all the options began with FL Resident… and ended with …13 Months-Renewal

  • What about for the premier pass? Does that qualify for the 13th month free?

  • The link to find the 45 participating theme park and resort restaurants where you get the 20% discount does not work for me. Can you tell me how I can access this?

  • I just purchased 4 annual passes on the evening of Oct. 1st at around 7:30 pm. It would have been really nice if this deal had been disclosed to me then…I am sure I could’ve waited 4 1/2 hours to get an extra month for my pass, not to mention that I purchased the passes on the actual 45th celebration date, and it was raining cats and dogs outside that evening and I didn’t get a very magical experience because of it. It would be very much appreciated if this “bonus” 13th month could be extended to our family.

  • I purchased Disney World annual passes for the first time on 9/25 and I just called and spoke to a Disney cast member that verified that I would get the 13th month as long as I activate my annual pass voucher between October 2nd, 2016 and January 3rd, 2017. Pleasant surprise to get a 13th month after making such a big decision to purchase our first ever Disney World Annual Passes!

  • Please detail the benefits for the premier AP passholders, planning to purchase one very soon.

  • I would like to see the same courtesy of 13 months offered to us loyal pass holders – even if only the platinum plus pass holders. Or maybe the Florida resident pass holders? This should seriously be considered. There are many of us “loyal” pass holders. It is quite an investment and a win win for both pass holders and the park. ?

  • Yay! So excited to take advantage of these dining & merchandise discounts! Makes visiting more often even more exciting & appealing.

  • I also purchased my renewal Annual Pass in September which was three weeks earlier than the renewal date that is in late October. Will I get the 13th month free?

  • I purchased my pass renewal 2 weeks ago but, new one doesn’t kick in til Oct 3. Am I able to get the 13th month? Won’t be activated until 10/15. Thanks

  • No way!! Our year ends October 31 and I renew on September 30…2 days before I’m eligible to get an extra month!?! Do you think there’s a chance to redo both contracts!??! Augh.

  • I’m one who also purchased yesterday, at my 60 day window. Wish it would apply to when you activate. This is the THIRD time a deal has come out within 48 hours of my purchase. Very frustrating.

  • What if I literally just renewed my pass today?! Technically it expires November 7, but I did the renewal contract today. Am I still eligible for the extra month?

  • I just got my annual pass yesterday, i wish I would have known to wait a few days. Since I haven’t used it/activated it yet, can I still get the extra month?

  • I have the same question as many others have commented about Premier Passport holders (aka the Passholder that works for both WDW and Disneyland Resorts). Do all these new Passholder benefits, merchandise and dining discounts as well as the bonus 13th month, apply to people who renew or buy new Premier Passports within the specified time window?

If the 13th month bonus is valid for Premier Passport holders, do we need to renew/buy new at a WDW ticket window in order to receive the extra month bonus, or will we still receive the extra month if Premier Passport is purchased in Disneyland? Thank you for your help.

  • Just renewed our passes a couple weeks ago that don’t expire until mid October – will the extra month apply to us?

  • I just renewed yesterday and was told existing AP’s don’t qualify for the free month only NEW passholders. I would have waited to renew otherwise. It’s only a month but a month is a month.

  • I just renewed my annual pass a few weeks ago. I would like to get the extra month also.

  • I was going to buy a premiere pass later this month, do these new special offers apply to this as well, including the 13th month? Or does it only apply for the pass holders of the Florida theme parks?

  • We just purchased annual passes on September 19th, but are not activating the tickets until December 12th. Will we get the 13th month. I sure hope so.

  • The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the 13-for-12 deal applies to renewals as well:

“Visitors who buy a 12-month pass between Oct. 2, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2017, will get 13 months of access to the theme parks. This offer applies to renewals and new purchases.”

  • This is fabulous. Do the benefits apply to renewals during this time frame also, or just new purchases?

  • Does the 13 month pass also apply to renewals purchased during this time, or is it only for people who are not currently pass holders?

  • Wish I had been sent this information before I renewed my annual pass yesterday. I could have waited didn’t expire until the 10th ?

  • Does the 13th month apply to people who activate vouchers during that time? I had to purchase the voucher to be able to make FP+ reservations.

  • What about pass renewals?

  • I just renewed a few weeks ago. Is this only for new purchases or are renewals included? That extra month would be great if I can get it!

  • Does that extra month offer include renewal annual passes? Or just for new people?

  • For existing passholders are we also eligible for this extra month?

  • Thank you can’t wait to try a whole bunch of new restaurants 🙂 Happy Anniversary

  • Does the offer for increased shopping and dining discounts also apply to the Premier passholders?

  • This is very exciting! It’s definitely tempting to renew.
But I have a question regarding the discounts. Are they valid for people who currently have AP? Like our passes expire in December, but we are going to jiko in November. Will we be able to take advantage of the 20% off?

  • Do you get an extra month on renewals during that timeframe or is it only for new passes? Are DVC discounted passes eligible for the extra month?

  • The new discounts are for existing APs too, not just newly purchased ones right? Only the extra month is for new ones?

This works out really well for my trip starting in 11 days. Except my Tables in Wonderland card became a somewhat less good investment.

  • Happy Anniversary! Will current passholders be able to take advantage of the new 20% discount, or is it only applicable to new APs purchased after October 2?

  • Does the extra month also apply to premiere passport holders?

  • Will the 13 month offer be valid for renewals? What about passes that don’t expire until later?

  • This is so exciting! We purchased our annual first ever passes on 9/14. Will these additional discounts apply to us?
