  • Hi, Rachel! I am dying to have the recipe for the apple cake at Akershus… I’ve looked all over the blogs and Pinterest for a copy cat recipe, or something similar, with no luck! Any chance you could scope it out for us??

  • This would be useful with better directions. There’s no directions on how to make the dough or how long to rest it for, and there’s no vanilla listed as an ingredient in the sauce–yet at the end you’re supposed to add vanilla? Uh how much? Vanilla extract or beans?

  • I had this in April. It was soooooo good. Can’t wait to have it again in March!

    • Prost! 🙂

  • This is great! But the ingredients for the vanilla sauce are lacking the vanilla; how much vanilla do you use, and is it extract or vanilla paste or whole bean?

  • Darla, for this recipe, I suggest start with half a teaspoon and then taste. You can always add more, a quarter teaspoon at a time, until you get the flavor you want. I know I’ll be making this for my husband as it was his favorite Epcot dessert!

  • How much vanilla in the sauce?
