The holiday season officially kicks off here at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida on Monday, November 7, with the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the nightly “A Frozen Holiday Wish” castle lighting.

“A Frozen Holiday Wish,” features the royal sisters Anna and Elsa. Along with their friends, Olaf and Kristoff, Queen Elsa uses her incredible powers to present a gift to everyone in the kingdom – transforming Cinderella Castle into a glimmering ice palace for the holidays.

Join us as we live stream the first castle lighting of the season right here on the Disney Parks Blog at 6:25 p.m. EST on Monday, November 7. A fresh blog post will appear at the top of the blog at that time for viewing.

  • THANK YOU DISNEY FOR LETTING FANS WORDWIDE WATCH WITH INTERVEIWS, WHO CANNOT BE THERE IN PERSON. ITS VERY KIND OF DISNEY. SO EXCITED X

  • Can you let us know if they are planning on posting the video after the show? It will only be around 3:30 for us on the west coast, so many of us will still be at work and unable to show the kids otherwise. Thank you.

  • Thanks for including us in this! I’d like to ask a favor. Please just let us watch the show, we really don’t need anyone talking through the entire thing or cutting away from the show to interview on-site guests or giving us a play-by-play. Thank you!
