When you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel it is a time to take a deep breath, enjoy the magic and leave the car behind! That’s right, thanks to Walt Disney World Transportation, you can easily get wherever you need to be on property, and did I mention it’s complimentary? To help you understand all there is to know about transportation from theme parks and resorts, the Disney Parks Moms Panel offer tips to help you successfully navigate your next vacation.

Do I drive or use Disney transportation to get to other parks? Korliss D. recommends not only bus transportation for families, but also boats and ferries. She and her family never use their car while on vacation, unless they must travel off property. She recommends always allowing enough time to reach your destination.

How do we travel to all four parks without getting in our car? Sounds impossible? Not according to Jen R., who explains that a Guest can easily travel to all four parks, in one day, thanks to the many options offered by Walt Disney World Transportation. She even accomplished this task on a past visit.

Kay B., reminds guests to always confirm when transportation ends at a particular resort when asked “What time does the transportation stop going from Fort Wilderness to Disney Springs?” Typically transportation begins 45 minutes before a location opens and ends approximately one hour after a park closes. Disney Springs transportation back to a resort can actually run as late as 2 a.m.

With so many new, and superb, dining options available at Disney Springs, more guests want to know the best way to arrive. Korliss D. offers fantastic advice when asked how to get from Epcot to Disney Springs for a dinner reservation at The Boathouse. She reminds Guests that when leaving from a theme park, the main way to arrive at Disney Springs is by bus. However, select resorts do offer a water ferry service.

Disney’s Magical Express is also another complimentary transportation service offered to guests staying on property. Deciding when to make reservations on your arrival day can be tricky if you are unfamiliar with how Magical Express works, but Crystal B. offers great suggestions when asked if there would be time to make a reservation for brunch on a morning flight.

There are simply so many transportation options to choose from, but we are sure you and your family will find the one that best fits your needs when vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort.
