My fellow Disney Parks Blog author Darcy Clark recently shared details about the National Polka Dot Day celebration on January 22, 2017. Guests are invited to join the polka-dotted fun at Disney Springs in Florida or Downtown Disney District in California that day to celebrate Minnie Mouse’s impact on fashion and popular culture. We’ll have special photo opportunities, entertainment, discounts, and a commemorative button for those guests dressed in their polka-dotted finest. If you aren’t sure what to wear, here is a look at Minnie Mouse-themed apparel, accessories, and more that you may find during your next visit to Disney Parks.
Disney Parks offers a variety of polka-dotted apparel and hats inspired by Minnie Mouse. Guests will also find handbags from the Disney Boutique collection, or a Minnie Mouse bangle from ALEX AND ANI in RAFAELIAN GOLD or RAFAELIAN SILVER finishes.
Other graphic apparel includes a vintage-style Minnie Mouse design, or a polka-dot covered shoe with a nod to Minnie’s iconic bow.
Speaking of bows, one of the most popular items at Disney Parks is a sequined Minnie ears headband that contains a sparkling red bow. This headband in joined by a stylish polka-dotted ear headband and an oversized novelty hat featuring Minnie Mouse.
Look for Minnie Mouse-inspired handbags, D-Tech phone cases, key chains from the Disney Boutique collection, or Disney pins to complete your outfit.
While they are not something you can wear, I love the new Vinylmation Eachez figures inspired by Minnie Mouse’s many outfits. Each mystery box contains one of three figures, and some figures are rarer to find than others. Look for this item starting January 20 at Disney Parks.
These products and many more are found in merchandise locations throughout Disney Parks. Guests may also find products using the free Shop Disney Parks mobile app. To download, please visit DisneyWorld.com/Shop.
