There is no better way to start your morning at the Disneyland Resort than with a leisurely breakfast. One of our favorite breakfast spots is Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel. The Old Hollywood-inspired restaurant is just as charming in the morning as it is at night. If you love a savory breakfast, we love the new Pork Belly Chilaquiles, with two eggs, tortilla chips, salsa roja and a delicious charred avocado crèma; or try the Chicken and Waffles, served with Vermont maple syrup. If you simply can’t visit Steakhouse 55 without having steak, the 7-ounce New York Steak and eggs with pomme frites is for you!

Eggs Benedict lovers will be delighted to find three versions – classic with Canadian Bacon and Hollandaise sauce on an English muffin; Serrano ham with steamed asparagus and blood orange-Hollandaise on a homemade cornmeal biscuit; and smoked salmon with hollandaise and caviar on an English muffin. Steakhouse 55 is also offering two takes on Steel-cut Oat Porridge – choose from sweet toppings (Muscovado sugar syrup, dried fruit, almonds and coconut) or savory (sautéed spinach, Cheddar cheese, a sunny-side up egg and scallions).

If you’re looking for a more traditional breakfast, the American features two eggs any style, thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, pork sausage or country ham, shredded potato cake and toast. The Continental Breakfast features an assortment of pastries and cereals and a three-egg omelet with your choice of fillings.

  • We ate there last month for my daughter’s birthday. They made her the old traditional French toast and even better made us a side of bananas foster! I think they are still happy to make upon request!

  • Steakhouse 55 was my most favorite place to eat Breakfast anywhere in the world. Their French Toast was my absolute favorite, and Two times Four was my favorite entree, so I am devastated to see that not only is that option gone, but also the French Toast is gone from the menu. I always wanted to try the stuffed french toast, but not at the cost of the regular french toast being removed. The new menu looks interesting, but very pricey compared to before and lacking way too many favorites. I sincerely hope the regular French Toast will be added back onto to the menu!!!

  • Wow! Sounds yummy, but the breakfast burrito will be missed and I agree with Debra the two times four is great for those who just want traditional breakfast eats. I love the idea of the different Benedicts! The bar menu looks great!

  • We’re sad about the menu changes as mentioned above and even more disappointed on the substantial price increases. $23 for breakfast is too high.

  • Sounds fabulous! I’m intrigued by the savory oatmeal! Steakhouse 55 is one of our favorite breakfasts at the DLR!

  • We love beginning our day with the delicious food and atmosphere of Steakhouse 55. I am very sad though that the Two Times Four is no longer on the menu. The french toast was my most very favorite and hope it finds its way back on the menu. We will definitely try and new items, but hope some of the old favorites are still on Chef’s mind!

  • Some friends took us here recently for our 15th anniversary. We loved it. I ordered the steak and eggs and it came out perfectly with a very tasty steak sauce. The real stand out for me was the steak sauce. That sauce is amazing! We highly recommend it!! We can’t wait to go and try a different dish.
