  • How strict are they on ages? My daughter is 15 but petite. She was adopted from China as a toddler and Mulan is our favorite movie! I would LOVE to get a book with her as Mulan! What a special keepsake that would be!!

  • Sure would love to know the reason behind the Boy exclusion.

  • I have a couple of questions that I hope you can answer for me.

1: The storybook is only done at Disney Springs?
2: Do I need to make a reservation?
3: While at studio can we take numerous photos with the different backgrounds there?
4: Do i need to bring my daughter her own costume?
5: Will I need to have already done her hair/makeup/etc? as we will not be doing BBB 1st.
6: It says that a “specialized, same-day photo session is required”. what is this? Is this in addition to the $149 for the book?

If there is a number for the studio that I can call for more information I am happy to do so.

    Thanks

  • Oh no! It’s a wonderful experience for little girls but I have a son and I’ve been looking for a personalized Disney book for him. The Disney store has some books that can include his name and a few other sites may include a picture too but I haven’t found anything else like this. This is an experience of a lifetime and memories to cherish forever. I wish Disney would come up with a story or two for little boys to have the same experience at Disney as little girls. We are going next weekend and I am bummed about this.

  • I agree with the boys missing out! I have 2 sons and we’re visiting in November – they would love to be able to be featured in a boy version of their own storybook.

  • Hello, I’m very interested in the Princess storybook for my daughter (when we go in September this year) Is the story just around one character?? I’ll have to figure out which princess is her favorite! What a task! Unless is there a story that features a few different princesses?

    • Hi Summer, indeed that is quite a task! Each Personalized Storybook is themed to the journey of one Disney Princess. Enjoy your upcoming visit!

  • Agree with the others… Please don’t leave out the boys! How can I get one if these special books for my daughter but leave my poor soon disappointed?

  • Hi! My son would love this too- what about Pirates or Buzz/woody? Also- how long does this session take? Like how long should we allow before a dinner reservation? Thanks!

  • Cute idea if you have a girl. When are you going to realize that boys also love Disney?

  • My 9 year old son would love to be featured in his own book and he loves all things Disney! There definitely needs to be an option for boys.

  • So, as far as the little boys are concerned, if I had a couple costumes, featuring the same movies as the girls, could I then have a book done with my grandson?
Disney CONTINUALLY misses the boat with boys.

  • I love this! At first I assumed it was a BBB add-on. I’m going to try and do this for my daughter. What an adorable keepsake!

  • Nothing for boys? Seems like a missed opportunity.

  • Super cute idea. Hopefully, it will start to include themes that boys can partake in. The options for boys are so limited while there are infinite experiences for girls. Please start to include them.

  • I am so in love with this idea. I need this memory. No reservations….how can the session be setup?

    • No setup is needed! Just visit the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs with your princess. After purchasing a Personalized Storybook at the location, a photographer will begin the photo session.

  • Will costuming and hair styling be included in the package?

    • Costumes and hairstyling are not included with a Personalized Storybook purchase.

  • Do the children get to keep the dress?? Do they do hair and makeup??

  • Would a little boy be able to be in the Frozen book as a “Prince”? My 3 year old loves Frozen and he would love to be in a book about it.

  • Wish they would offer something similar for boys. I have some boys who would be glad to be in a story with Marvel Superheroes, Woody and Buzz, or Jack Sparrow!

  • I really wish they would do one for boys. Maybe pirate or Peter Pan or maybe even toy story. I understand most magical things involve princesses but boys like Disney too! Hopefully soon if this takes off they will make a boy version too.

  • What is the cost for this item? Do you need an advanced reservation at the photo studio?

    • The Personalized Storybook is available for an introductory price of $149.95 plus shipping. Reservations are not needed to visit the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs.

  • What about boys? Between Peter Pan, Toy Story, Pirates there has to be a few good stories they can be a part of! You seem to have missed an entire demographic here.

  • What is the cost for something like this?

  • What will the price be for these books/session?
