The start of the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is only a few weeks away. Today, I have a sneak preview of new products created this annual springtime celebration that returns to Walt Disney World Resort from March 1 to May 29.

This year, guests will find new artwork from Disney Design Group including stylized images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and pastel-colored, geometric patterns featuring Figment.

New merchandise will include apparel, headware (the Mouse ear headband is fun!), home décor, and souvenirs. We’ll release five Dooney & Bourke handbags including, by popular demand, a larger sized Weekender bag. A ShellieMay plush bear dressed in gardening attire and three Figment-inspired garden decorations will also be offered.

New Pins Coming to the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

For Disney pin collectors, look for a limited release logo pin along with several limited edition pins. The four-pin, limited edition pin set features Disney characters such as Orange Bird or Judy Hopps from Disney’s “Zootopia.”

Annual Passholders will find several unique products such as apparel for women and men; a TERVIS wine goblet; a collectible coin; and a limited edition pin. For the first time, we are introducing a limited release logo pin created only for Passholders. In order to purchase these items, Passholders must present a valid Annual Pass at time of purchase.

Finally, I’m thrilled to announce the return of the Egg-stravaganza to Epcot. From March 1 to May 29 (or while supplies last), search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters and record your discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the specially themed map to represent that location.

Maps and stickers can be purchased for $5.99, plus tax. To participate, visit Pin Central – Future World, Disney Traders at the entrance to World Showcase, or World Traveler at International Gateway.

For guests at Disneyland Resort, stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for details about the Egg-stravaganza returning later this spring.

Look for these items and more at the Festival Center located in Future World between Mission: SPACE and Universe of Energy. The location will have expanded operating hours during opening week, Wednesday, March 1 to Sunday, March 5. During the remaining weeks of the Festival, the center will be open Friday through Sunday. Guests may also find additional products in select merchandise locations throughout Epcot.

For more information on the Festival, check out epcotinspring.com.

  • How many of the different eggs are available at the end of the hunt?

  • Hi Hi Hi!!
Wow this post just made me even more excited for my Disney trip! I am going as a birthday present from my mom for my 21st (I am a princess haha). Anyways, I have a few questions, I am going to be in Epcot on the very last day, May 29. Do you think the egg hunt will still be available? I am really interested in the pins, can you please tell me where they will be available, and for how long? I will be in Epcot on May 29, but I will be in Orlando May 27, so if they will be at like Disney Springs, I will pick them up then.
I have never been to Disney during this time of year and I am very excited!! I do not know much about the F&G Festival, mainly just the things in this article and that there are different foods and drinks (I think.)

  • Where do I pick up passholder figment wine goblets

  • Hello,
I am wondering if they will also be doing an egg hunt on Easter at Epcot where the kids get to hunt and take 5 plastic eggs like they did a few years back?

  • Hi! We were fortunate enough to return from Epcot the other week and loved the Flower and Garden Festival, an added bonus to our trip! We loved the merchandise and bought a number of items one including the mason jar mug. Unfortunately though, after one hand wash in warm dish soap water, the logo came off the jar! We were quite disappointed.

  • Hi
How can I purchase a Shellie May in her Flower and Garden outfit? Checked parks merch. on Disney Store and do not see her.

We just got back from a wonderful (somewhat “chilly”) spring break trip, and of course my daughter regrets not buying this Shellie May.

I thought she would make a nice Easter surprise, but was unsure of hoe to go about purchasing.

    Thanks for any info.

Epcot was stunningly beautiful as always!

  • Looking for the four pin set with Orange Bird anyone know where to find? Thanks in advance.

  • due you have any updates about at Disneyland Resort details for there Egg-stravaganza hunt ? like the dates

  • Hi I have a question on the Disney Dooney and Bourke flower and garden satchel. Does that happen to come with a extra adjustable strap?

  • Can you tell me the price of the ears being offered?

  • Thank you for showing the eggstravaganza peek!!! I’ve been waiting to see this years eggs! Lady & Tramp! Oh My!!!

  • The figment statue looks small. Do you have the measurements on it?

  • I loved last year when you did the French reveil of the item available. Would love for you to do it again. Want the wine glasses but we will not be coming till the 12 and they may not have them 🙁

  • Hello! Do you know if more AP shirts will be available on the Shop Parks App? I saw them available yesterday, but now it’s saying in store only and I can’t seem to buy through the app. Thanks!

  • Hi Steven! I am excited, Flower and Garden is my favorite thing at Disney! Can you tell me if the Dooney pouchette and tote (not pictured) are the same design with the light blue background?? Also, is the tote a smith by chance? Thanks!

  • Hi Steven! Since the festival center will only be available on the weekends, will the Dooney and Bourkes be in other shops or are they only available on the weekends?

    • @Baleigh – I would check Mouse Gear during the times the Festival Center isn’t open.

  • Hi, Steven! Thanks so much for this wonderful sneak peek of the gorgeous Flower & Garden Festival items! I have a quick question: Will there be any new Vera Bradley for Disney Parks prints and/or styles released for Spring 2017? I seem to recall that in the past, they have been announced around this time of year and usually in conjunction with F&G. I appreciate any input that you can provide! BTW, your articles are ALWAYS my favorites!!! 🙂 Have a great day!

    • @Traci – You’re welcome. Thank you for reading these stories and for your compliment. The accessories team told me that something incredibly exciting is coming this summer for the Disney Parks Collection by Vera Bradley. I’ll have an update about the items in a couple of months on DisneyParksBlog.com. We don’t have any releases planned for spring.

  • I know the Passholder shirts are already available in the Shop Disney Parks app; any chance more merchandise will be released on the app once the festival starts?

    • @Ginger – Select products from the Festival will be offered in Shop Disney Parks app. I don’t have a full list at this time. I know that the Dooney & Bourke handbags will only be available at Epcot.

  • Steven,
Any possibility of the styles and pricing of the Dooneys for this Flower and Garden Release?
    Thanks in Advance
    Deric

  • Hi Steven! Always appreciate you keeping us informed!

We love coming to Disney for Spring Break.

Interested in the Figment garden items. What is the price for those? The Statue & stepping stone?

We got to do the egg hunt last year for the first time. Some of the eggs were hard to spot! I guess that was the point lol!

I took a photo of my daughter with each egg in the background as she found them.

Shhh! Don’t tell anyone, but if you are really struggling, a nearby CM will give you a clue.

I have to say, I was honestly slightly disappointed that there is a charge for the map & stickers for the event.

Also more than a little surprised that after all our hard work, we only got to pick one egg.

My daughter picked the super cute MICKEY egg.

Can’t wait till Spring in WDW!!

    • @Ann – My pleasure! I hope you have a wonderful visit this spring. As for the garden items, the Figment statue is $39.99 while the rock and stepping stone are $29.99 each. Please note all retails are subject to change without notice.

  • Thank you for the look at the new items for Flower and Garden. There are quite a few we would love to purchase mainly pins. We will be coming in May and hope there will still be some left. Last year in May there was just about nothing left. Are feeling is not enough are make for everyone to purchase during the whole three months.

  • Will the dooney’s be available on the parks app ? How about ears and AP items?

    • @Sherry – The Dooney & Bourke handbags will not be available via Shop Disney Parks app at this time. There will be other select products offered in the app. If you search “Flower and Garden” today, you will find two Annual Passholder tees currently available.

  • How much do the egg maps cost?

    • @Andrew – Maps and stickers can be purchased for $5.99, plus tax. To participate, visit Pin Central – Future World, Disney Traders at the entrance to World Showcase, or World Traveler at International Gateway.

  • I am hoping to get one of each of the Annual Passholder items. Where do you get them? They always seem to disappear quickly!!

  • Hi Steven! As always, such a great preview. Can you please tell me what the other 2 styles (not pictured) will be for the Dooney & Bourke? Hoping for a tote or letter carrier. Thank you!

    • @Amy – There will be five Dooney & Bourke items including a Pouchette, Large Wallet, Zip Zip Satchel, Tote, and Weekender.

  • Will there be a MagicBand 2 for the festival?

  • Will the artwork on the header of the article be featured as deluxe prints?

    • @Jonathan – I don’t recall seeing those as options. Stay tuned for a look at the Festival poster in a couple of weeks – it’s incredible!

  • Oh I cannot wait!! We will be there on the 6th of March. My question is, will those be the same eggs offered at DLR? If not, I will snatch them up while in Orlando. I cannot wait to shop!!

    • @Liz – Stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for details about the Egg-stravaganza returning later this spring to Disneyland Resort. Similar eggs will be found in California.

  • Will there be a Magic Band 2 issue?

  • Is the egg hunt ONLY on weekends? Thank you!

    • @Rachel – The hunt will be offered throughout the duration of the Festival (while supplies last).

  • Tervis wine goblet?! Genius!

  • I LOVE that the Egg Hunt is the whole festival instead of just Easter week.

  • Beautiful! I would love to know if the Dooney & Bourke bags will be on the Shop Parks app? Any ideas about what the additional styles will be?

    • @Casey – The Dooney & Bourke items will not be offered on Shop Disney Parks app at this time. The five silhouettes include a Pouchette, Large Wallet, Zip Zip Satchel, Tote, and Weekender.
