At Candy Palace, you’ll also find the famous handmade Disneyland Easter Eggs—while supplies last. Disneyland Candy Makers hand-shape each delicious egg, which is filled with house-made fudge then enrobed in milk chocolate. The eggs are offered in five flavors—Chocolate Cream, Chocolate-Nut, Vanilla-Nut, Black Walnut and my personal favorite, Peanut Butter.

If you’re looking for a special Easter Brunch, Storytellers Café at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will have special offerings on April 16. PCH Grill at Paradise Pier Hotel will also have Easter Brunch and Dinner April 14-16. Reservations can be made by visiting Disneyland.com/dining or by calling 714-781-DINE.

  • Any information about the Egg hunt or characters dressed up for Easter

  • Are you doing the egg-stravaganza this year?

  • When does the Eggstravaganza start? I’ve been waiting for the announcement with anticipation!! I’ll be visiting next week & really hope to be able to join in on the Easter fun!!!

  • Like the others… when’s eggstravaganza starting?! It’s the best part of easter time in the park!

  • For everyone asking about the Egg-stravaganza, I don’t have any inside info but I did want to mention — just in case anyone missed it, as I did at first — that a very brief reference to the Disneyland Resort Egg-stravaganza was made in a Disney Parks Blog on Valentine’s Day, about the Flower & Garden Festival merchandise!

The February 14th blog focused on Flower & Garden Festival merchandise, and somewhere down in the middle of the blog there was a photo of this year’s prizes for the Egg-stravaganza. The egg hunt (all 3 months of it!) has been added in as part of the Flower & Garden Festival fun at Epcot this year, and so the egg-related maps and prizes were lumped in with the overall event “merchandise.” There was nothing mentioned about the Egg-stravaganza in the title of the blog, so anyone not reading about the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot would have missed it and possibly never known it was there.

Anyway, in that same blog, there was a mention of Disneyland Resort’s Egg-stravaganza, and it was this: “For guests at Disneyland Resort, stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for details about the Egg-stravaganza returning later this spring.”

We know that it is safe to say that the Egg-stravaganza will start before Easter, but Easter is later this year than it was last year. I think that the later holiday accounts for part of the delayed announcement. Later Easter = later start to the Egg-stravaganza at DLR! 🙂

  • Will any of these items be suitable for vegan guests?

  • Will the Easter Bunny be doing meet and greet like Santa did? If so, when will he be there and where will you be able to meet him.
    Thanks

  • Two years ago we were lucky enough to be at Disneyland just before Easter (also just before our anniversary). We LOVED going to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree and meeting all the different Disney rabbits, the Easter Bunny, Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, etc. The kids had fun dancing with different cast members, decorating Easter cookies and bunny ears, and checking out all the gorgeous painted eggs. I am wondering, now that the ranch is gone, is there a new place for this type of meet and greet? We will be arriving at Disneyland on April 1st, just in time for the Eggstravaganza, and we’re hoping that we’ll get to have spring time fun with the bunnies again! Thank you! 🙂

  • Super sad the Ranch is gone. It was always decorated so fun for each season. Will you have another area similar like it with the Rabbits?

  • Any Easter egg hunts?
