This summer, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will present “The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters.” This limited-time concert event will showcase memorable music from Pixar Animation Studios films, complete with a live orchestra and appearances by beloved Disney•Pixar characters.
Starting May 26, “The Music of Pixar LIVE!” will be presented three times nightly at Theater of the Stars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (following the regular daily performances of “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage”). The show will also feature highlights from some of Pixar’s greatest scores, from films like “Toy Story” to “Cars 3.” Guests can also expect appearances by Woody, Jessie, Mike and Sulley, the Incredibles and more.

I have the reserved seating for the third show from getting the dining package by eating at Hollywood and Vine. Does this mean that I will have reserved seating for the Beauty and the Beast or will I need to get up and move to the reserved section? Or do they clear the space and make you line up again? I’m counting down to July! 🙂

Will this replace the “Sounds Like Summer” concert series in Epcot or is it in addition to it?
Any update on if there will be Fast Passes available. I will be at Hollywood Studios on the day it begins 3/26.
My favorite Pixar song is “Married LIfe” from UP. Fingers crossed that it will make the playlist!
I wonder if this will be on par with Pixar in Concert at the Philharmonic.

This sounds fantastic – sounds similar to Pixar in Concert, which I saw on tour and loved. 🙂 I hope it’ll continue past the summer and into the fall, especially when my family and I will be there in October. Also, I’m glad to see Jessie listed as one of the included characters – I would hope that if she can be featured in this, that the parks will consider reinstating a meet and greet for her. We miss visiting with her so very much!

I’ve always loved the main theme from Up! I’ll be at Disney end of July/beginning of August. Any chance that this will still be showing at that time?
I think it would be amazing to hear the heroic music from The Incredibles performed live! Will Fastpasses be available for these shows?
Since this is a “limited-time” event, what is the ending date? Is it only for the summer months? I would love to see it during my autumn trip!
Had the opportunity to see the touring version of this in Orlando last year. If it’s anything like that, people are in for a treat! 🙂
