Bonjour again!
I come to you bearing even more news of our wonderful colleagues at Disneyland Paris and their 25th Anniversary Celebration.
Unfortunately, I’m not actually there this time; but it will be the next best thing because I – and you too – can watch the Anniversary Celebration live streaming through the Disney Parks Blog.
Tomorrow (April 12) is the official anniversary date – Disneyland Paris officially opened its gates on April 12, 1992.
To celebrate, the cast there has prepared a whole bunch of great activities. They start VERY early morning for us (Paris is six hours ahead of us in Eastern time and 9 hours ahead of our Western U.S.readers); but I know are true blue Disney Parks Blog fans would want to know all the details:
- SPECIAL LIVE STREAM – At 9 a.m. (Paris Time) / 3 a.m. Eastern: the Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Grand Celebration will kick-off, with a huge cast of dancers and characters and a special Happening by Disneyland Paris cast members; and a few surprises – carried live here on the Disney Parks Blog! The above video will be live at 3 a.m. Eastern.
In addition to the morning ceremony, throughout the day, there will be lots of special activities at the park like:
- “The Grand Celebration Cavalcade” of characters and entertainment performers parading through the streets of Main Street, U.S.A.
- And, of course, all new entertainment and attractions, specially-created for the 25th anniversary celebration that premiered last month: the new daytime spectacle – Disney Stars on Parade; two new stage shows in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle – Mickey Presents “Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris” and The Starlit Princess Waltz; a recently re-Imagined Star Tours: The Adventures Continue; and a stunning night-time finale – the all-new Disney Illuminations, night-time spectacular featuring state-of-the-art technology.
We want to say a HUGE “Joyeux Anniversaire” to all our colleagues at Disneyland Paris.
We’re proud to be a small part of the festivities – even if it is during the middle of the night here.

I and my wife spent days pre and post celebration, last Nov. and this month.
In this month, we saw some peoples ware the 25th stadium jumper.
But unfortunately we cannot buy it, caused sold out.
I know it is the special limited edition, but I want to buy still now…
How long will the celebration last? Planning a trip next March/ April.
Will the 25th Paris Anniversary merchandise be available in the States like WDW and Disneyland? Merci!

My birthday is on the 12th of April as well. I was there the 1st and 15th anniversary. Unfortunately I won’t make it there tomorrow…. but I will be there this Friday to spend the weekend!! Can’t wait to try all the newness (new menus at restaurants, new attractions, new parade..) But most importantly to be there in this beautiful spring month to celebrate the most beautiful Disney park in the world! Yay!!!
