With thousands of other vacation options in destinations around the world, it’s an opportunity to expand, not only Members’ vacation horizons, but even the life of their Vacation Points – thanks to an option that allows Members to deposit unused Vacation Points for future use through RCI.
This year promises to see more Members than ever enjoying RCI exchanges, taking advantage of special offers presented as part of Membership Magic in 2017.
First, as announced earlier this year, the popular offer to waive the traditional $95 transaction fee is being extended for new RCI reservations booked in 2017, regardless of travel date.
And, for a limited time, RCI will help Member families enjoy last-minute getaways by reducing point values (by 30 percent or more) for reservations made within 30 days of travel (based on availability).
Members may begin booking these reduced-point, last-minute reservations on April 4 (a reservation made on April 4 could include a check-in date as late as May 4), with June 30 scheduled to be the last day to make such reservations (and July 29 being the latest eligible check-in date). Both nightly and weekly reservations are available through this special offer, which includes all eligible RCI resorts with the exception of those in The Registry Collection.

I really like the recent RCI perks: waived exchange fee and reduced points for “last minute exchanges.” Well done. I hope these might continue beyond 2017, please? Thank you!
This is a great extra perk! We only travel in August so I think we will miss out. Members since 1997!
