Earlier this year, our Disney Parks Blog readers “unlocked” a first listen to the theme song for the soon-to-debut fireworks show “Happily Ever After,” which opens at Magic Kingdom Park May 12.
Today, we’re happy to share a full inside look at the recording session for the “Happily Ever After” theme song, in which country music artist Angie Keilhauer and singer Jordan Fisher happily describe how being a part of this project has truly been a dream-come-true moment in their careers.
This emotional song encourages people to find the courage to reach for their own “happily ever afters” and in addition to the duo of Angie and Jordan, also features the talents of a full orchestra and 90-voice gospel choir – combining into the perfect recipe for an amazing finale song.
“It’s so big and it’s so beautiful, and I think the sentiment behind it makes it even more special,” Jordan said. “Then add the fireworks and the amazing animation – I think that’s a moment people are going to remember and that’s really exciting.”
