“Disney Junior Dance Party,” a high-energy, live show experience that takes its inspiration from the most popular Disney Junior shows on TV, is now open at Disney California Adventure park!
The all-new “Disney Junior Dance Party” is a music-filled, interactive experience that invites guests of all ages to join in the fun! The new show includes live appearances by some of your favorite characters from popular series, “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” “Doc McStuffins,” “Sofia the First” and “The Lion Guard.”

We went to this show on Friday and it was so much fun. Perfect for the age group that wants to do more than just sit in the stroller and meet characters but is still too little for most rides. My two-year-olds thought it was amazing, plus mommy got to sit for 20 minutes inside so that was nice too! It will definitely be a new stop in our Disney days!!!
My kids will be so disappointed to lose the original Disney Jr: Live on stage! Although I’m sure the new “dance party” will be fun, there was something very unique about the puppeteering aspect of Disney Jr: Live on Stage.
Awful. Please don’t change to this in WDW. The Live on Stage puppet show was so special and filled with heart and great performances you could look forward to watching again and again. Incredibly heartbreaking to see it go.
Seems a shame that the puppet aspect is gone, but it looks pretty cool.
