If celebrating the Fourth of July at the Disneyland Resort is on your summer bucket list, it’s not too late to plan your visit! With the Summer of Heroes in full swing at Disney California Adventure park, why not spend a night or two at one of our three on-property hotels?

Here are a few ways to enjoy your vacation as a guest of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort this summer:

Fireworks Viewing: Hotel guests can enjoy spectacular fireworks viewing from the rooftop pool deck at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. For club-level guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the E-Ticket Club and Craftsman Club — the concierge clubs in both hotels, respectively — also offer perfect viewing.

Pool Parties: Every day beginning July 1, afternoon parties at the pools will feature upbeat music, dancing and fun games like “Finding Dory’s Friends” and limbo! Check out the daily pool parties at these times:

  • Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: 4:30 p.m.
  • Disneyland Hotel: 3 p.m.
  • Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel: 1:30 p.m.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, we will be throwing special, extended pool parties throughout the Fourth of July week to celebrate the redesigned pool deck with music and games!

Poolside Cabanas: For hotel guests interested in lounging by the pool all day, poolside cabanas are available for a half-day or full-day rental at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Our shaded cabanas come equipped with everything needed to relax, including comfy seating, TVs, mini refrigerators, complimentary fruit platters and bottled water.

Disney Dining: To dine with favorite Disney friends, special character experiences can be found at each hotel’s restaurants. The dining room at Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel is buzzing with excitement during the new, limited-time Disney Dinnertime Magic with Chef Mickey Mouse.

Magical Night at the Movies: Starting in July, hotel guests will kick back and enjoy favorite Disney films on Sunday and Friday evenings. Movie screenings, including pre-show activities and games, will take place at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, but open to guests of all three hotels.
