More than 25 years ago, actress Paige O’Hara lent her voice to one of the most beloved Disney princesses of all time – Belle, in the 1991 film “Beauty and the Beast.”
Paige, who was awarded with Disney Legend status in 2011, recently visited Magic Kingdom Park where she met up with Belle and Beast, and shared some of her favorite Disney memories with us.
Among her fondest moments were the days that led up to the film’s release, which were packed with fun Disney appearances. Paige also shared her thoughts on why the character of Belle is still so beloved to this day.

Thank you for this! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite animated princess movie, and Belle is a huge reason why. Seeing Paige O’Hara 25 years later at Disney made my day! I also enjoyed the flash back of her in the studio voicing Belle, what a treasure. She really is a Disney legend!
