A little Night of Joy update this morning.
We have a new ticketing structure for this event being held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and I wanted to share it with you.
This year, we’ve really tried to create a ticketing structure that meets the needs of a variety of different types of guests including Walt Disney World Annual Passholders.
Event guests will be able to buy a concert only OR a concert plus theme park combination ticket for either evening – or even a two-night concert ticket.
- Single-night concert only tickets will be $45 plus tax in advance
- Two-night concert only tickets will be $69 plus tax in advance
- Add-on a (1) day Walt Disney World theme park ticket for only $62 plus tax*.
There also will be premium seating packages available for an extra charge; and groups of 10 or more will be able to get discounted tickets, as with past events.
Tickets will go on sale in early June.
A little reminder about this year’s talent: (Entertainment subject to change.)
- Friday, Sept. 8 – MercyMe, TobyMac, Zach Williams, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Matt Maher, Colton Dixon, Rend Collective.
- Saturday, Sept. 9 – Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kirk Franklin, Jordan Feliz, Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Tye Tribbett.
For more information, stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for updates on entertainment and events.

Hate to say it but this was our last year at Night of Joy as long as it is at ESPN. For years we have always brought a group and especially when it was at Magic KIngdom. The kids were not into games and activities available this year and we will catch our favorite artists at other concerts. It is ashame you moved the venue because we were able to bring kids that dont go to church to listen to these artists but now they don’t want to come.
We took our youth group last year…which we’ve done for many years now. It was very disappointing. The concerts were performed at the Wide World of Sports, and it was not fun at all. The music was good, but there was nothing else for the kids to do. In the past, the event was held at the Magic Kingdom, and it was always my favorite time of the year. As a youth group, we have decided to attend Rock the Universe this year. It am hoping to have a great time but will miss the fun we used to have at Disney. It’s a shame! I would be willing to bet that Night of Joy will lose a lot of groups this year for the same reason as us. Maybe it’ll change back to the Magic Kingdom one day. Until then, we will attend Rock the Universe.
This will be our first year attending and we are also passholders. Will there be any special offers for passholders?
