Held in May, 400 readers showed up dressed in their pirate best, so much so that it was difficult to choose which photos to include in our blog post that recapped the event.

We saw everything from Captain Jack Sparrow lookalikes to original handmade costumes. And of course, the Disney Parks Blog team dressed in full pirate regalia for the occasion.

Thank you for the opportunity to attend an advanced screening of Dead Men Tell No Tales. It is the best POTC to date. The visual effects and technology employed took the story telling to a whole new dimension. The teaser and possible story lines left me and my husband yearning for more.
