Last year, nearly 9,000 guests enrolled in the first-ever running event at Hong Kong Disneyland, experiencing the magic of the park in a whole new way. And now, we’re thrilled to announce the heroic return of this signature race on September 16 and 17 as Marvel 10K Weekend 2017 – Presented by AIA Vitality!

Wind your way through the seven themed lands of the park during the Captain America 10K and Thor 5K. There are plenty of chances to take memorable photos with Disney Friends, and don’t be surprised if you spot a few Marvel Super Heroes along the way. The Spider-Man 3K is just the right distance for the whole family, and of course plenty of fun is in store at the Kids Races.

Each runner will collect a Marvel Runner Pack with an event T-shirt, race bib and other useful items, and keep an eye out for limited-edition merchandise available just for this event. A unique Super Hero medal is waiting for everyone who crosses the finish line, and the top three runners in each age category will also be awarded a night’s stay at one of the resort hotels or a dinner buffet, as well as designated Marvel Captain America accessories presented by Chow Tai Fook.

Friends and family are welcome to join in the fun by purchasing a spectator ticket. All participants at the Marvel 10K Weekend will also be making a difference for people in need, and Disney VoluntEARS will join hands with volunteers from Chow Tai Fook to help raise support and awareness of the Hong Kong Association for Cleft Lip and Palate at the event.

Registration is open through July 31, so sign up now and get ready for a one-of-a-kind Disney race experience!

Comments

  • You have to pick up race packets a week before the races? This isn’t conducive to those of us who might be visiting. Hmphf.

  • Also, according to the race site, only the ‘race’ category in the 10k will have prizes, and that’s limited to first three finishers, not each race’s age category. Some of the information here doesn’t jibe with what’s at the race page.

  • And there’s no way–unless you’re really fast–to run all three races, since the 3K start is only 40 minutes after the start of the 5k and the 10k. Conceivably you could run the 5k and get back in time for the 3K but for most, no way.

  • The 5k and 10k are on separate days; however, I find it hard to make it really worth travelling for anything shorter than a 1/2 marathon. Maybe they don’t have the space for a race that long? Regardless, I love running inaugural RunDisney races and am looking forward to the implementation of Asian Disney races, but I’ll hold off on this for now.

  • Why such a short notice on this!
