There are many ways to stay cool during a warm day at the Disneyland Resort, like stopping for a rest in a nice, shady spot. There are lots of peaceful places to take a break throughout the resort, and today we are showing you some of our favorites in Disneyland park. Take a look!

What is your favorite shady spot in Disneyland park? Tell us in the comments!

  • I like to hop on the trian (ya it is back!) and go around 2 or 3 times. Shady and you get the train breeze. My other go to spot is people watching between New Orleans and the Haunted Mansion.

  • The Refreshment Corner on Main Street! I try to plan my resting time during the performance of the ragtime piano tunes!

  • Now that the Rivers of America are open again the lower deck of Hungry Bear is a great place to cool off with views of all the River traffic.

  • I really miss the People Mover. The worst decision to take it out! We could rest our weary bones while slowly going around the park enjoying the sights and sounds of Disneyland! Wish the bigwigs would bring it back…WDW still has it but we live on the West Coast and are Disneyland Fans.

  • I love stepping into Star Wars Launch Bay or Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln for some well-earned A/C on a hot day. And, BTW, some of DLR’s hottest days are actually in the autumn due to SoCal’s infamous Indian Summer!
