Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is almost here, and that means it’s time to get your tickets for our favorite frightfully delightful Halloween tradition – Mickey’s Halloween Party! Here’s a great tip: Purchasing tickets in advance can save you money on several of the party dates! And on select nights, Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders can save even more.

Here are more of our top tips for Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland park:

  • Mickey’s Halloween Party is a great time to capture one-of-a kind moments with the whole family dressed in costume and posing with some of their favorite Disney characters, who are also decked out in Halloween costumes. New this year, souvenir Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event are included with your ticket, with unlimited PhotoPass downloads to enjoy later.
  • Pick up a special map at the Main Entrance or use the Disneyland app to locate the trick-or-treat stations throughout the park. The whole family can enjoy the trick-or-treat stations – and be sure to look for healthy treats, too!
  • Presented exclusively during Mickey’s Halloween Party, the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow leads the Frightfully Fun Parade down Main Street, U.S.A. This eerie Halloween spirit holds a flickering jack-o-lantern to light his way as he rides in search of a new head to call his own.
  • New this year, your Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket allows you to visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks! Entry to either park both parks begins three hours before Mickey’s Halloween Party starts.
  • Be sure to check the costume guidelines here when you are planning your party costume.
  • Savor a spooky feast with Mickey’s Halloween Party Dinner Package! Available only on party nights, this special package at Blue Bayou Restaurant also includes a voucher that provides access to the Frightfully Fun Parade reserved viewing area. Click here for more information.

  • So…now masks for the kids can’t cover the whole face anymore? That’s most of the boys’ superhero and Star Wars Costumes. No Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Iron Man, Spiderman, etc.?

  • I got one answer !!! DCA closes at 8 (or whatever advertised time) and that is it. They do not stay open for the party hours.

  • I have been going to Mickey’s Halloween party for the past four years. I am also a pass holder. We have always received a discounted tickets on a Friday. This year I noticed we pay full price. How come we don’t get a discount? We are already paying enough for a annual pass. Also will there be Halloween decorations and treat stations in California Adventure? I will probably skippy the Halloween party this year.

  • I bought event tickets for a group of friends, but I myself am not attending. Will they be able to enter the parks without me being there?

  • Will there be any Cars Radiator Screams merchandise for this years Halloween Celebration at California Adventure?

  • I too am wondering if we can hop back to DCA after the party officially starts at DL.

  • I have noticed that since the addition of Photopass to the top level of Annual Passes and now Max Pass, that there seem to be fewer and fewer Photo Pass Photographers. Will you be staffing more photographers for the Halloween Parties?

  • I have a Question. I have been going to the Mickey’s Halloween Party for three years. Disneyland never let the party go into the Adventure Park. Is the entry to the Adventure Park going to have the trick or treating going on also?

  • Hello, our family will be attending the October 13th Halloween Party and have a few questions. First, will we have access to both Disneyland Park and DCA once the official party has commenced? If so, will there also be trick-or-treating during that time? Last, if we will have access to both parks during the duration of the Halloween Party, what time will DCA close? Thanks so much for your time!

  • Do you know where the viewing area for the Frightfully Fun Parade will be located? Will it be the same place as last year?

  • This is going to be my first year going to Mickeys Halloween Party and i was wondering how it works. Are people without the MHP ticket still in the parks during it or do they have to keave before it starts?

  • So this years the Mickey’s Halloween Party ticket is like a park hopper? Or do we have to pick either DCA or Disneyland to enter for the day?

    • Yes! Admission to Mickey’s Halloween Party includes access to both parks three hours prior to the event start time.
