Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is almost here! This year, the spooky fun extends throughout the Disneyland Resort, with returning favorites at Disneyland park and new ghostly delights at Disney California Adventure park.

In Cars Land, the residents of Radiator Springs are transforming their little road town into a Haul-O-Ween celebration. Each establishment will be decorated for the season, with Fillmore showing off his Jack-Oil-Lanterns and ghostly folk art, a Spider-Car spinning webs all over Flo’s V8 Café and more.

Two Cars Land attractions will also transform for the first time ever this Halloween season. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, an all-new spooktacular dance celebration where Luigi and Guido will entertain the cugini (cousins) with Halloween twists on traditional Italian festival songs like the “Terror-antella,” “The Chop Top of Carsoli” and more. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will become Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, where guests will whirl around the graveyard to the tune of creepy new songs and fun haunted twists on favorites such as “Monster Truck Smash” and “Welcome to Radiator Screams.”

At Buena Vista Street, a new 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow, holding his jack-o’-lantern head up to the sky, will haunt Carthay Circle. Mickey Mouse and his friends bring more Halloween fun to this stylish avenue, donning new costumes, with Mickey Mouse as a bat, Goofy as a ghost, Daisy Duck as a witch and more!

Discover these new experiences along with returning favorites during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, September 15 through October 31!

  • What a fun project! love x

  • Can’t wait for the fun of Haul-o-Ween at DCA! #savegroot

  • Wonder if I will get an answer ?? How late is DCA open on the nights of Halloween Party?? Yes I have tickets.

  • Looks like fun, pre Mickeys Halloween Party at DCA.

  • You don’t have to attend the Halloween party to experience the overlays, correct? Fridays are sold out ?

  • I am so excited that they are opening this when we are there! I was so worried we would miss it. So excited about the Magic of Halloween thank you Disney for opening September 15!!!!!!!

  • I love that you are adding Halloween Time to DCA! Can’t wait to see it! I wish you would bring back Candy Corn Acres too! That was so cute and creative!

  • Will those rides go down at all before overlay?

  • This looks AWESOME!!!! I cannot wait to celebrate the season at both parks! Will Carsland be handing out candy at Mickey’s Halloween Party?

  • It looks amazing. I especially like the Headless Horseman. I’m so glad that the Halloween spirit is being added as it really adds to the experience and I LOVE Halloween and always organize my holiday so that I can be there for this holiday.

  • I will be in Disneyland to celebrate my 35th birthday on September 10-13. It’s my first time visiting. Will the fall/ Halloween decor be up or will we be seeing the classic decor?

  • I will be there Oct 3/4 and I know Mickey’s Halloween Party is in Disneyland this year, and closes at 7 for those who don’t by the ticket for that event. We plan to head over to DCA, but because DCA is now part of the Park Hopper for the event, will we be able to go to DCA?

  • oh I love it.. I wish they would do a Halloween Run

  • Oh my goodness — I can’t wait!!! About this time of year, I am so over summer and heat. I need some Fall and Halloween in my life. I am so excited that there will now be a better balance of Halloween décor between the 2 parks. For years we have had this whole season called “Halloween Time,” and yet it has felt very much limited to one park only — barely even extending to Downtown Disney or to the hotels (until the Halloween display finally appeared at the Grand Californian Hotel). It didn’t feel very all-encompassing or immersive to me. For a big season such as this, that lasts for at least 1-1/2 months, both parks should be included in some way, and now they are!

  • This looks like so much fun! I hope to be there October 6. Has Haunted Mansion Holiday’s gingerbread house been revealed yet?

    • Hi Rochelle – Not yet, but stay tuned!

  • This sounds like so much fun! Love ? the parks during Halloween time! ?? Excited about the way Cars Land will be decorated! ?Can’t wait to visit!

  • So cool. I love that Radiator Springs will be decorated for HalloweenTime, and that headless horseman statue is awesome. It’s good to see the park getting more festive for HalloweenTime.
