Disney Parks Bento Magic – Br’er Rabbit on Splash Mountain Attraction

We’re celebrating the hero of our Splash Mountain attraction – Br’er Rabbit – with a special Disney-inspired bento box work of art. Today, Disney Parks Blog reader and fan Mike Kravanis is in Magic Kingdom Park to show you how to create our first Br’er Rabbit bento box with a Splash Mountain background.

To create Br’er Rabbit, begin by soaking rice in tea and mixing in powdered black sesame seeds to add spots to his fur. Then, turkey lunch meat is used create Br’er Rabbit’s eyes with black olives for the pupils. After the details of his face are completed, just fill the bento box with “blue” cauliflower (cooked in butterfly pea flower tea) to make the “splash” in Splash Mountain and you’re set.
