2017 Disney Food & Wine Cookbook Shares Recipes Coast to Coast

For the first time ever, the 2017 “Disney Food & Wine Festival Coast-to-Coast Cookbook” takes you coast to coast to both Disney festivals – the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival that happens in the spring at the Disneyland Resort, and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, happening now through Nov. 13 at Walt Disney World Resort.

And since the Epcot festival is just under way, we’re sharing a new recipe from the Africa Marketplace, one of 35 Global Marketplaces at the 22nd Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

Generously seasoned, this flavorful, vegetarian version of a hearty African stew gets even more protein from quinoa and yogurt toppings. You can toast the naan for chips, but the pillowy flatbread is just as delicious simply served warm on the side for sopping up the stew.

The Disney wine experts recommend pairing this dish with a Pinotage; a medium-bodied red wine with red fruit aromas and a touch of smokiness. Bon appétit!

  • Sometimes they do appear on the Shop Disney Parks app but you could always call Guest Relations and ask. Disney is always really great when it comes to sprinkling a little fairy dust.

  • This festival cookbooks are usually only available at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival market places-also during the Epcot Flower and Garden show, and the Festival Center during each festival. We go yearly, and buy the years cookbook at that time. It has never been offered at Disney Store on line. Other than that, I’d guess folks are selling them on ebay for more. hope this helps others of you since there is no response from the actual blog:)
