UPDATE 10/16/17: The Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket is now sold out at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The Mickey Pumpkin Premium Popcorn Bucket has also sold out at Disneyland Resort.

UPDATE 9/29/17: Due to the overwhelming popularity of these creepy culinary collectibles, there will be limited quantities available throughout the month of October.

Mugs, popcorn buckets, bottle toppers, glow straws . . . take home some of the Disney fun with these collectible culinary novelties! Our novelty teams have been hard at work this year coming up with new offerings.

“Each year, we look forward to creating exciting new Food & Beverage novelty products that guests can enjoy in the parks and take home with them at the end of their trip as a piece of the magic,” says Product Development Manager Marcus Gonzalez.

These delightfully frightful novelties will start appearing throughout September and October, so keep this list handy so you can find them in each of the parks during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort Halloween Events.

Comments

  • Are the hitchhiking ghosts only going to be around for the halloween season? Or will any still be available during November?

  • So the Oogie Boogie popcorn bucket is totally sold out? So much for saving any for actual Halloween day/night visitors.

  • How much are the headless horseman straw clips?

  • No AP bucket, OB bucket, tiki mug or green poison Apple as of 10/08. Red Apple still available at grand California and headless horseman in Disneyland (small world drink cart).

  • Any word yet on the Tiki mug? Would like to get one this year as last year was sold out.

  • Such a disappointment… just visited Disneyland and California Adventure Sept 23-26 and no Headless Horseman straw clips anywhere, including the Halloween Party that we attended Sept 25. Went early and traveled from North Carolina just to get the West Coast goodies…

  • Seems to be a lot of confusion about Oogie Boogie popcorn. Is it refillable for $1.00 or not?

    • Hi Kathy! To answer your question – at Disneyland Resort, the Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket is not refillable. However, the Halloween Popcorn Bucket for Annual Passholders is refillable for $1.00 through Oct. 31! At Walt Disney World Resort, the Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket is refillable for $1.50 during the length of your stay.

  • I agree with everyone else regarding making sure there are MORE hitching ghost tiki mugs this year so everyone can have the opportunity to get one. I mean obviously the ghost trio are popular so please have enough for all to be able to purchase them first hand.

  • So happy about all of the new items. People may complain about WDW not getting the same treatment, but hey, Disneyland is much smaller, therefore a lot more can be done as opposed to WDW size. 2nd, I spent 2 hours looking for boogie boogie popcorn buckets at the park yesterday but they were sold out :/, I wanted it for my son’s birthday. Any idea when they might get more so I can rush over there? Thanks!

  • Does anyone know where in Magic Kingdom they’re selling the Oogie Boogie popcorn bucket? And if it’s more than one location, is there any you’d recommend getting it?

    • The Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket is sold at select popcorn carts around Magic Kingdom Park, and is exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

  • Where can you find the headless horseman straw at Cal adventure
I looked yesterday and no one knew what that was

    • The Headless Horseman Glow Straw/Clip will soon be available in multiple Food & Beverage locations throughout Disney California Adventure Park and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. If you are a guest of Mickey’s Halloween Party, you may spot this item as the party starts in Disneyland Park, as well!

  • Does anyone know if the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket at Disneyland differs from the Oogie Boogie Popcorn Bucket at Walt Disney World or if they are exactly the same? If they do differ, how do they differ? I ask because in this article the one at Disneyland is described as a Premium popcorn bucket and the one at Walt Disney World just says popcorn bucket.

    • The Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket is offered at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort – and they are the same bucket!

  • Why does Disneyland get all of the Halloween love every year? It just seems disproportionate.

  • Please email when tiki mugs will be released please and thank you I will be forever greatful . Wow there’s alot of salty comments on this page lol I didn’t get too get one last year hopefully this is my year:)

  • I really hope the Hitchhiker Mug is a true 2nd edition and is 10% smaller. Last year when you ran out and then all the sudden had more was really a bummer, because they didn’t seem to be true LIMITED EDITION. I ended up getting 3 mugs last year. One from FL (Blue Glaze) and one from each of the release days in CA. The two I got in CA where different colors (Gloss and Matte Glaze). Did anyone else get this also? Cross my fingers they are a true 2nd Edition.

  • For the curious, just where in California Adventure will the Teeny Tiny Headless Horseman Straw-clip be sold?

    • The Headless Horseman Glow Straw/Clip will soon be available in multiple Food & Beverage locations throughout Disney California Adventure Park and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. If you are a guest of Mickey’s Halloween Party, you may spot this item as the party starts in Disneyland Park, as well!

  • Can we please get a release date for the Trader Sam’s Haunted Mansion tiki mug? Also, any information if this one is DIFFERENT from the one last year? Thank you!

    • As you know, the Hitchhiking Ghosts “materialize” at their leisure so we do not have a date for when this popular Tiki Mug will appear at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar!

  • I’m genuinely disappointed in how few things Walt Disney World receives in comparison to Disneyland. I know it’s a big deal on the west but us on the east love Halloween too!

  • A little disappointing that Trader Sam’s isn’t getting an all new mug this year.

  • This looks awesome, but why does Florida get the short end of the stick with this? It feels rather unfair. It also tends to be the holiday trend, where California gets the cooler holiday treatment (i.e. Haunted Holidays). Just a disappointing observation.

  • When will the tiki mugs be released?

    • As you know, the Hitchhiking Ghosts “materialize” at their leisure so we do not have a date for when this popular Tiki Mug will appear at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar!

  • Hi any idea when the Haunted Mansion Tiki Mug will be available at WDW?

  • Any chance there are actually enough hitchhiking ghost mugs to meet demand? And will information be posted ahead of time on availability or will they go on sale at a random date/time? Last year the process was not exactly great.

  • When will the Trader Sam mugs go on sale? Will they be the same price as before? Thanks!

  • When will the Hitchhiking Ghost Tiki mug be available at Trader Sam’s?
