Today, we’re proud to announce an all-new way to enjoy the natural world on a scale never before possible thanks to the opening of an immersive eco-tourism destination: Villages Nature Paris!
The result of a years-long collaboration between Euro Disney and European tourism leader Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs, Villages Nature Paris offers five interactive areas and nearly 900 apartment- and cottage-style accommodations on close to 300 acres for a one-of-a-kind getaway just a few miles from Disneyland Paris. The artistic vision for the resort was overseen by Creative Portfolio Executive Joe Rohde and a team of Imagineers, in partnership with landscape architect and town developer Thierry Huau.
You’ll discover new areas filled with unforgettable experiences: the Aqualagon, one of the largest covered water parks in Europe; the BelleVie Farm, with its own tea room and grocery store; the Extraordinary Gardens, with more than five acres celebrating the four elements of nature; the Forest of Legends; and the Lakeside Promenade.
Nature-lovers, thrill-seekers, explorers and foodies will all find activities to their liking, including zip lining, paddle boarding, raft and hut building, beekeeping, bread making and wine tastings.
Villages Nature Paris was designed with a pioneering approach to sustainable tourism, a commitment that includes a serious reduction in the resort’s carbon footprint, water and waste management, biodiversity conservation, local food sourcing and more. It’s even been recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme as part of its “Global Partnership for Sustainable Tourism.”
We’re always looking for new ways to celebrate and protect the environment around us, whether it be in our Wildlife Wednesday blog series or through new initiatives like the ‘Connect to Protect’ program that unlocks donations to at-risk species during a visit to Pandora – The World of Avatar. With the opening of Villages Nature Paris, we’re thrilled to offer so many new possibilities!
Kind of interesting how they are handling stays. From their website: “Villages Nature® Paris is only available for arrivals on Mondays for a stay of 4 nights, or on Fridays for a stay of 3 nights. ”
Remind you of anything? Like a cruise perhaps?
First off… looks AMAZING! So the questions is, how can we enjoy it? When? Is it a place you can just go and tour the landscapes, or is it a place you can stay while visiting Disneyland Paris? And if you can stay there, when will it be available? So many questions… 🙂
Wow! We are going to DLP next summer. I can’t wait to visit this new area. My daughter will love this.
If those plans shown at D23 come true, and Communicore/Innoventions does get bulldozed, please have this team develop the replacement areas.
