Give the Gift of Adventures by Disney

“It’s the thought that counts.” Long used to explain gifts well intended but poorly chosen, this semi-apologetic phrase has echoed through the festively decked halls of many a holiday gathering for generations. It’s not that we don’t appreciate the sentiment behind that cats-in-costumes calendar, the jar of wrinkle-repair cream or the book of witty quotes by President Millard Fillmore. We just don’t cherish the gifts themselves. (Except maybe the cat calendar. That Calico in his February fedora is one handsome kitty.)

A growing number of Disney Vacation Club Members are taking a generous sleigh ride to the other end of the gifting spectrum this holiday season by giving family or friends the gift of Disney vacations. Among the “Give the Gift of Disney” options are guided vacations from Adventures by Disney, and a limited-time offer is sweetening the deal.

Bookable from Nov. 21-Dec. 12, 2017, the Adventures by Disney gift packages include a discount of $250 or 34 vacation points a person on select guided European vacations. (I was going to mention that a family of four can save $1,000 through the cash offer before realizing you probably don’t need my help with that complex math.) Gifters also receive a limited-edition Adventures by Disney art print (one per reservation) when they book one of the following discounted itineraries during this promotional period: France, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Italy & Amalfi Coast, Central Europe, Greece, Spain, England & France.

Disney Vacation Club Members taking advantage of this offer using cash may call Adventures by Disney at (877) 728-7282 to make their reservation, while those using vacation points may book through Member Services.

By the way, if you’re the kind of member who gives family or friends the gift of a European vacation, can we be friends? Or family? I promise to share my cat calendar.
