UPDATE 11/18/17: Please see corrected information for Walt Disney World below. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.

The big cheese is at it again! Mickey Mouse is headed out on another intrepid adventure to celebrate his birthday with some of his biggest fans, and you can join in on the #HappyBirthdayMickey fun at all of our Disney Parks around the world. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store.

The big day is November 18, and Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate with special “Happy Birthday, Mickey!” buttons, merchandise and Sorcerer Mickey Cake. To commemorate the occasion, guests can sing and dance along with “Happy Birthday” during Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!, Cosmic Dance Party in Tomorrowland and performances by the Dapper Dans. Plus, birthday photo props will be available at all four theme parks, and everyone who collects their photos at the parks will receive a folder with a commemorative sticker. And look for a PhotoPass photographer at each park with a special birthday celebration prop to help make your memories even more magical!

Disneyland Resort will host a celebration cavalcade for Mickey Mouse, featuring some of his special friends and the Disneyland Band, starting at “it’s a small world” and pausing for a special moment at Sleeping Beauty Castle before continuing down Main Street, U.S.A., to Town Square. There will be plenty of chances to sing “Happy Birthday” along the way, and of course, “Happy Birthday, Mickey!” buttons will be distributed to park guests.

Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Paris is also where the party’s at! Be prepared to celebrate Mickey’s birthday just before “Disney Stars on Parade,” as well as during the Lucky Nugget Saloon show at Disneyland park and in “Mickey and the Magician” at Walt Disney Studios park. And what’s a birthday without cake? Guests can find plenty to snack on at locations around the resort.

Guests at Hong Kong Disneyland can purchase a special Mickey Birthday pin on November 4, and a special edition Times Guide will be available on November 18 in honor of everyone’s favorite mouse. At Shanghai Disney Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort, guests will have the chance to sing “Happy Birthday” and join in unique photo opportunities.

Leading up to the big day, Mickey Mouse will take off to exciting destinations such as Japan, Chile, Canada, China, England and the United States, sharing magical moments on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Facebook and Instagram pages. He will then bring a few more surprises when he visits the Good Morning America studios in New York City on November 15. Be sure to share your favorite moments using the hashtag #HappyBirthdayMickey and join us in celebrating the one and only Mickey Mouse!

  • my aunt’s birthday is 18 November 1928, so she actually shares Mickey’s exact birthday! I’m sure we will include Mickey in her celebrations.

  • Happy Birthday Mickey and for bringing laughter and happiness to so many lives! Wish I could be there to celebrate too. Looking forward to being there next year.

  • 89 years and still going strong! How enduring is Mickey Mouse!?!? Amazing! Incredible!! So happy and grateful that Walter Elias Disney’s had a dream! ;). Never forget, it ALL began with a mouse….

  • My daughter will be marching in the Disney parade. She is in the color guard

  • Wait. No cake at Disneyland?

  • Hi! My daughter celebrates her birthday on the same day as Mickey! She will be two. We want to go to Disney Land. Anything special we can do to celebrate with Mickey?

  • When is Christmas Parade being filmed? Already?

  • I didn’t knew Mickey was born on the 18th of November, my birthday is on the 19th of November! lol

  • Can you still get tickets for GMA on November15. I would love to take my grandchildren?

  • Is there any other way to get the button, my mom’s birthday is Nov. 18th too and she loves Mickey!!

  • Do you get the commemorative folder and sticker at each park? I heard that you get that folder if you get the photos from all four parks. This article makes it sound like you get the folder with the photo at each park (vs. having to go to all four parks). I’m so excited that we’ll be there to be a part of this celebration!

    • Hello Leticia – I’m sorry but this offering will not be available today. I apologize for the confusion.

  • The parade at Disneyland Paris is called Disney Stars on Parade. 🙂

    • Thanks for the catch, Christopher!

  • We’ll be on a Disney cruise on the 18th. I hope they will be doing something also.

  • I can’t wait
