It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – at Disney’s Hollywood Studios anyway!

Just a few nights ago, Disney’s Hollywood Studios became the first park at the Walt Disney World Resort to transform for the holidays. Our team was there to grab video of this cheerful transformation, which this year includes the addition of new 1940s-era inspired decorations, plus a new look for the Echo Lake section of the park. At Echo Lake, guests will be able to see the park’s signature Christmas tree surrounded by floating ornaments. Dino Gertie has also dressed up for the holidays for the first time, wearing a larger-than-life Santa hat and holding a Christmas ornament in her mouth.

Lisa Borotkanics, Manager of Holiday Services, shows off all the changes in the video above. Check it out!

    • Thanks, Susan!

  • My husband was one of the elves. So proud of him and the entire team for the work they do and the magic they create.

    • The team does great work!

  • I was wondering what was going on since all the water had been drained out on my last visit. Looking forward to seeing all the new stuff
