Disney’s Animal Kingdom starts off this month’s Best Bites with a new prix fix menu at Tiffins, offered on select days during lunch from 11:30am-3:30 p.m. The meal comes with a trio of appetizers with black-eyed pea fritters, heirloom tomatoes and marinated grilled octopus. You can then end your meal with a delicious dessert trio consisting of chocolate ganache, lime cheesecake and guava mousse! Stop by Tiffins on Discovery Island to try out this amazing new menu.
Right next door to Tiffins is Pandora – The World of Avatar, when you can now find some breakfast options at Pongu Pongu. The new offerings include a chocolate-stuffed brioche, colorful coffee cake, the popular pineapple Lumpia, and a Wolf Paw, which is a cinnamon bun topped with almonds!

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Park has recently added a few new items to the menu. The first dish is a favorite of our friend Pamela Perkins, the President of the Adventurers Club. The Perkins Thai Noodles consist of chicken, tofu, seasonal vegetables and rice noodles tossed in a spicy soy-chili-garlic sauce.
You’ll be betting it all on the next dish, the “A Lot At Steak” Salad! This leafy dish comes with grilled steak, romaine lettuce, Spring mix, pickled jalapeños, red onion, queso fresco and pumpkin seeds tossed in a chimichurri vinaigrette. The last dish is the Baa Baa Berber Lamb Chops. These berbere-spiced lambchops come with roasted carrot purée and arugula-cauliflower salad tossed in a citrus vinaigrette.

The service and atomosphere is wonderful! The marinated grilled octopus, Wagyu Striploin med -rare and the whipped cheese cake is the best!
We love Tiffins! Just want to be sure I’m reading this correctly. The new prix fix menu will replace the entire current lunch menu at Tiffins. If we want the pan-seared duck breast [which is done to perfection!] or Wagyu Striploin we will have to make dinner reservations? These are our favorite main courses.
