Alton Fitzgerald White, Broadway’s record-breaking Lion King with an unparalleled 4,308 performances on stage as Mufasa, will sign his hit new book, My Pride: Mastering Life’s Daily Performance, during special appearances at Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney Springs in the days ahead. Alton is a familiar friend to many Disney Vacation Club Members, having delivered standout performances aboard numerous Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise voyages.
Equal parts memoir and motivation, Alton’s book explores his inspiring triumphs over adversity and offers insightful advice for mastering daily performance in any walk of life.
Here’s a look at Alton’s schedule of upcoming book-signing events at Walt Disney World Resort:
- Jan. 29: Epcot, Heritage Manor Gifts in the American Adventure pavilion, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Jan. 30: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Discovery Trading Company, 11 a.m.-noon
- Jan. 31: Disney Springs Marketplace, Art of Disney, 7-8 p.m.
- Feb. 5: Epcot, Heritage Manor Gifts in the American Adventure pavilion, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Note that, as Cast Members will distribute a limited number of wristbands at each signing location on a first-come, first-served basis, arriving early will give you the best chance to participate.
