Popular stories and characters from the Marvel universe are already being incorporated into Disneyland Paris in the form of this summer’s Marvel Summer of Super Heroes celebration, plus plans for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel.

Now, it appears more super hero fun is on the way. It was just announced at D23 Expo Japan that the Marvel Super Hero universe will also come to Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, where Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be totally reimagined as a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure, in which guests will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers.

Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more information on this attraction’s transformation.

  • Please only change the roller coaster, but don”t cancel all the guitar or decorations~~!! Just put them in another place.

  • Incredibly sad. The Aerosmith ride has been my all time favorite.

  • Hold on, so details about a previously unannounced marvel section for DLRP, but still nothing new about more Marvel at California Adventure??

  • Glad to hear some love will be put into this park that so desperately needs it. I expect this new coaster to be an improvement over the current attraction. Hopefully it won’t be too screen heavy and will utilize large scale sets and animatronics so that guests can truly be immersed in this ‘Marvel’ous world created by Stan Lee.

  • Any idea as to when and how long this will take? We are talking a trip to DLP the first of June. We are already disappointed enough with Phantom Manor being closed.

    • No update on timing yet. Stay tuned!
