Last month we released a brand new MagicBand color, millennial pink, and now I’m excited to share that we will be introducing two more colors, as well as several new designs based on some of our guests’ favorite Disney films.
With Walt Disney’s timeless classic “Peter Pan” marking its 65th anniversary this month, we are rolling out our latest color, navy blue, in a design that features the London night sky – plus a bit of pixie dust. This MagicBand is currently available for purchase online and will be in stores Feb. 9 and retails for $22.99 plus tax.

A second new color, cream, will be available on a limited release Dooney & Bourke MagicBand that will come in specialty suitcase-themed packaging and may be purchased exclusively in the theme parks for $48 plus tax.

Another Dooney & Bourke-branded MagicBand, with a limited edition size of 500, will be offered at the 10th Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend expo beginning on Feb. 22 while supplies last for $48 plus tax.
The highly-anticipated Marvel Studios film, “Black Panther,” hits theaters on Feb. 16 and we’re celebrating its release with this super new MagicBand. The MagicBand has a limited edition size of 2,500 and will be available for purchase while supplies last online and in stores beginning Feb. 16 for $32.99 plus tax.

Other new MagicBand releases for February feature designs inspired by “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” including one of my personal favorites, a glow-in-the-dark Oogie Boogie-themed black MagicBand. These MagicBands will be available for purchase beginning Feb. 12 online and in stores Feb. 16.

The dooney and bourke passport magicband is so nice, I’ve heard rumors that it makes special effects at touch points, does it make any special effects? If so, is it at all the parks? I’d love to have this as my collection if it does.

Hi CeCe, we do not have an exclusive Mrs. Potts MagicBand. However, we still have the artwork from last year’s live action Beauty and the Beast movie at our MagicBand on Demand locations and they do include Mrs. Potts. I hope that helps!
How many of the Parks Compass Dooney and Bourke Magic Bands are being sold in this Limited Release?
We don’t have edition sizes in our Limited Releases, we instead sell this item for a select amount of time, anywhere from a few weeks to a year. Expect to see this MagicBand for the next few months!
Hi Erika….My husband just got me the Dooney and Bourke compass band for Valentines Day (Best Husband EVER!). I saw on an earlier comment you said that the band will “trigger a surprise and delight sequence at select touchpoint across property!” Can you elaborate where these triggers might be? I’m glad to see new designs constantly being released! I hope we’ll see some Toy Story band designs this summer, in honor of Toy Story Land. My family and I would all get them, especially if Jessie was included!

Hi Erika – I noticed that Epcot Flower & Garden starts on February 28 but there is no mention of a MagicBand coming out for it starting on that day. Any insight into if we can expect a MagicBand for the festival this year? Or is that coming in “March” post? Thanks!

Any word on how limited the Passport D&B magicband will be and what day it will be in stores? I love this band – I wish I could buy it online because I’m guessing it’ll be gone before I can make it back to the parks.
Hi Jason! This is a limited release MagicBand so it’ll be sold for a period of time rather than by edition size. I would expect to see it for a while at the parks. Good luck!

Hi Liz! I love the Passport Dooney & Bourke MagicBand but it is only themed in the logos of our Walt Disney World parks. Hope that helps!
