What’s your favorite winter sport? Mine is curling. While it lacks the gracefulness of ice skating or the speed of skiing, it’s a competition that takes precision, strategy and teamwork. So, imagine my delight when I got to try my hand at a unique version of this sport, known as Bavarian curling, on the Adventures by Disney Rhine River Cruise!
On the Rhine sailings, you have the chance to team up for fun at an indoor winter park just outside Cologne, Germany. Here you can go sledding, tubing, tackle a ropes course, or even try your hand at the Bavarian version of the best winter sport of all (in my opinion anyway) – curling.
