We have incredible news to share that will take kids to infinity and beyond!
Starting April 13, 2018, Disney’s Contemporary Resort will introduce a brand-new, playful and immersive Pixar character experience as part of a pilot program. Each night, kids, ages 4-12, will be transported to a world full of excitement and adventure with their favorite characters from Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” and “The Incredibles”!
It all kicks off with Space Ranger Training where kids will learn how to identify and battle enemies of the Star Command. Then, Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup. During the Piston Cup Challenge, youngsters will be able to build a race car, then race it on the Radiator Springs Racetrack. And finally, kids will learn some sweet dance moves during the Incredible Dance Party with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible. What else is on the menu? Games, dinner and dessert, of course!
The nightly getaway for kids, ages 4-12, will open doors for registration at 5 p.m. and programming will run from 6-10:30 p.m. for a fee of $65 per child (plus tax). Children must be fully toilet-trained.
While the kids play, parents can enjoy their own getaway throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Is this event still going on? If so how far in advance can you book the party?
Our wedding is next year at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and the ceremony starts at 5pm. I was upset to learn all the other child care locations are closing this summer, as that was an option I was giving our guests for our “adult only” ceremony and reception. Will this new location have an earlier drop off time than 5pm to accommodate guests coming to Disney weddings?
Will the child have the opportunity to have character photos added to their magic band? I know my kiddos would have a great time and love to meet all the characters but they also love looking at the pictures afterwards. Hope this is included.
How strict is the 4-12 age requirement? Would love for both my daughter (5.5) and my son (3.75) to be able to attend. My son has been fully potty trained since before he was 3 and has been in a preschool environment since he was a baby – so is rather mature and adept at group settings. Would we be able to send them both?
Would love be to do this, but now that we have to pay for parking forget it. Not cool!
When will more info be announced? We are coming in the weekend after this starts and I don’t want to miss the info on how to signup!
When can we start making reservations for this? The cast member on the phone didn’t know anything about the program or that it was offered.
Please stay tuned to the blog for more information in the coming days.
Can you register in advance for this? Do you have to stay at the Contemporary or can you stay at any disney resort?
This experience will be open to all guests.
Great idea. When can you start making reservations?
Stay tuned!
Catherine- usually the child care centers are open to anyone on a first come first served basis whether ay that resort or not.
That’s correct!
It’s great to see Jessie represented in this. I hope she’ll be out to greet guests at Toy Story Land this summer, too!
Will this be open to anyone at Disney Parks or just for people staying in the Contemporary?
This experience will be open to all guests.
