One day is never enough to celebrate the moms in our lives. Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa celebrates moms for the whole month of May during Mahalo Mama Month. It’s our way to say “mahalo” – or thank you – to moms staying at Aulani!

Here are a few ways to say mahalo to your mom:

Get pampered at Laniwai Spa. Aulani Resort’s award-winning spa offers a special rejuvenating Mahalo Mama Spa Package, which includes a Lomilomi Massage (25 Minutes), Cinderella Facial (25 Minutes) and Yummy Mummy Organic Pedicure (50 Minutes). Prior to her treatments, she can spend time in the Kula Wai—the spa’s tranquil outdoor hydrotherapy garden—to unwind and relax. Mom will be glowing from head to toe!

Wake up to breakfast in bed. Treat mom to a scrumptious breakfast brought right to her bedside. Aulani’s in-room dining chefs have created a special menu item: Hawaiian-style French Toast stuffed with chocolate and strawberries, topped with warm strawberry compote and whipped cream!

Enjoy ‘ohana time. Every Sunday in May, create a Lei Poʻo (Head lei) and learn the art of Hula with mom at the Pau Hana Community Hall. Afterwards, head to Rainbow Reef, Aulani Resort’s private snorkel lagoon, and swim among the more than 1,000 tropical fish. Mom will get a 10 percent discount in May (either one day or length of stay access).

Cherish Hawaiian vacation memories. While you are enjoying your time at Aulani Resort, be sure to capture those special memories on camera. Our team of Disney PhotoPass cast members are available throughout the resort and as a special offer in May, guests will receive 15% off Family Portrait Sessions! And over at the Pau Hana Community Hall, you can decorate photo frames and other mementos during arts and crafts time. Mom will love these one-of-a-kind keepsakes!

How will you say mahalo to the moms in your life?

  • Hi there! Love all these wonderful ideas for Mom. My family, along with another family, will be at Aulani for Father’s Day. Would you have some suggestions that I can plan ahead for?
