To celebrate Earth Month, Disneyland Resort cast members have created original works of art from recyclable items found in their work areas during the third annual Environmentality Art Challenge. The top ten finalists are featured here on the Disney Parks Blog, and in-person at the Disneyland Resort, for you to vote for your favorite!

Materials Used: Scrap waste can, an old electric motor and LED’s from discarded Disney toys, sharpie pen bodies, plastic soda bottles, scrap metal, hot melt and fur from a refurbished Jungle Cruise hyena, wire, metallic foil, paper, foam board, used paint cups, and of course, Solo Cups for Han’s Stormtrooper armor.

Materials Used: Plastic spoons, paper towels, soda cans, balloons left behind in Guest rooms, paper plates, coffee stir straws, aluminum foil, glue, cardboard, and lamp/light bulb left over from renovation.

Materials Used: Photo opp buttons, gift cards, wrappers from soda and water bottles, used post it notes, wrappers from paper reams, candy boxes, cereal boxes, green bean plastic liners, chimichanga plastic liners, corn bags, sausage paper liners, and plastic lining from popcorn buckets.

The unique art gallery will be on display in the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland park until April 13, and then at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure park until April 21. On Earth Day, April 22, the gallery will be on display at the Downtown Disney District. The grand prize winner will receive apparel made from recycled content, compliments of Coca-Cola.
