Disney Parks After Dark: Nighttime at Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris

Tonight’s “After Dark” image was snapped at Disneyland Paris of the park’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Outside, the park’s 167-foot-tall castle was given an imaginative, fairytale look that includes spires, turrets, stained glass windows and elaborate tapestries. At night, the castle sets the scene for the “Disney Illuminations” extravaganza that combines fireworks and projections with stunning special effects that bring classic Disney tales and new stories to life, including “Frozen” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
