Last week, a handful of cast members were allowed into Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be among the first to experience Slinky Dog Dash, the new family coaster that will open with the debut of the new land on June 30.
One of the land’s highly anticipated new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash is themed as if Andy built it in his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit and some other favorite toys, including Jessie and Rex! The attraction’s ride vehicles – inspired by the character of Slinky in the film – send riders dipping, dodging and dashing around turns. Check out the video above to hear what the first reactions are to this adorable new attraction.
Toy Story Land will officially open to all park guests on June 30. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for full coverage of all things Toy Story Land.

woweeee! Is it super fast and kinda scary or if you are brave enough for Big Thunder RR will you be able to handle this ride too??
What about accessibility? Does it have a car that opens for transfer like Mine Train or Big Mountain Thunder ?
Marilla, I’ve heard reviews saying it’s not as “scary” as Big Thunder but not as tame as Seven Dwarves Mine train if that helps!
Can’t wait for our trip next year to test it out in the flesh!
This ride is worth the wait!!! Super fun. A really good comparison is a bit more than the mine train but less than Everest or Big thunder. I loved the ride and my stomach stayed right where it was. A side note the track is lit up at night which was an awesome touch. I’d shoot for a night ride if I had a choice. Toy story land is an awesome new addition! Great job Disney!!!
