Where to Get the Best Views Onboard a Disney Cruise to Alaska

Are you planning a Disney Cruise to Alaska? Then get ready for some of the absolute “coolest” views on the high seas! Everywhere you look, you’ll find something to marvel at in this unrivaled natural wonderland, from majestic mountains and bright blue glaciers to dense forests and lush valleys. There is something truly breathtaking about sailing among the serene vistas of America’s Last Frontier that is unlike anything you can experience anywhere else in the world.

Of course, you can find an exciting new vantage point to take in the scenery while ashore in each destination, whether you choose a seaplane, helicopter, dog sled, fishing boat, railway or mountain peak. But even when you are on the ship, you won’t want to miss a minute of the amazing views! Luckily, there are countless places to find them aboard the Disney Wonder… Here are a few of my favorites:

Pool on the Disney Wonder in Alaska

Decks and Pools
You can catch unobstructed views of the Alaskan wilderness from the bow of the ship, where you will feel completely immersed in the world around you as the ship sails ahead. The heated pools and hot tubs on the pool deck are luxurious locales for soaking in the sights, and the covered promenade on Deck 4 is lined with comfy lounge chairs that are perfect for a good book in an even better setting.

Cozy Spaces
You can relish the sweeping Alaskan landscapes from the comfort of your oceanview stateroom … For the ultimate luxury, book a verandah room, order room service (it’s complimentary!), sit back and watch the mountains go by.

Cabanas on the Disney Wonder

At Palo, the Disney Wonder’s adult-exclusive restaurant specializing in delicious Italian cuisine, every table offers gourmet views of the Alaskan wilderness through floor-to-ceiling windows – the ideal setting for a romantic date night or indulgent brunch. These stunning visuals can also be enjoyed during a casual meal at Cabanas, where you can even choose to dine outside among the mountains in the fresh Alaskan air.

  • Maybe a small deck on top of Vibe is deck 12. Haha.

  • Deck 12??? Secret deck I don’t know about?

  • I’ve been on the Disney Wonder 3 times and as far as I know, there is no deck 12. There are only 10 true decks with deck 11 being Vibe. So….I’m not sure how you are supposed to view Alaska from the bow of the ship on Deck 12?! Am I missing something??
