Fall is one of the most magical times at Walt Disney World Resort. The temperatures are actually a bit cooler, the seasonal decorations are amazing and you can even pick up a yummy fall treat at Main Street Bakery.

The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, as well as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, are some of the most popular Autumn events. However, if you ask the Disney Parks Moms Panelists, there are even more magical reasons to visit Walt Disney World Resort in the fall.

“As the days get shorter, I love having time to enjoy the stunning sunsets around the resorts and spend time in the parks at night,” explained Robyn M. “Each theme park is beautiful in its own way at night, from the shadowy palm trees and neon lights of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, to the twinkling lanterns and firefly-lit trees of Magic Kingdom Park. Walt Disney World is gorgeous every day of the year, but the golden light of fall holds a special kind of magic.”

For those who are not fans of the heat, the cooler temperatures might just have you enjoying a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Da day according to Kaylene J.

“October has always been my favorite time to visit because of the weather. Historically, the average temperatures are in the low 80’s, and it’s not too hot. In fact, it is what I would consider the ‘perfect’ temperature. As a New Englander, with summer behind us and winter on the way, it is a great way to enjoy one last burst of beautiful weather.”

And did someone say food? There will be many special food treats available at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but some seasonal treats will be available daily through October 31. A few of these include the Halloween Cinnamon Roll at the Main Street Bakery and the Minnie Witch Brownie available at Casey’s Corner.
