The holidays are almost here and I am SO READY! One of things I’m most excited for this year is the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, which runs from November 18 through December 30, 2018. Celebrating joyous holiday traditions from around the globe, this festival returns to Epcot once again with festivities including the ever-popular Candlelight Processional (starting Nov. 22) as well as festive decorations and unforgettable entertainment.

Pastrami on Rye from L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen at Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

But we all know what I’m here for – the FOOD! With 12 Holiday Kitchens as well as additional locations throughout the park, there are deliciously festive dishes around every corner. New at this year’s festival, we’ve got a host of new items at Feast of the Three Kings as well as a WHOLE NEW HOLIDAY KITCHEN! The new L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen features traditional Jewish dishes such as Pastrami on Rye, Chicken and Matzo Ball Soup, Egg Cream, and more.

Holiday Cookie Stroll Cookies at Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

And what would the holidays be without cookies? You won’t want to miss out on the official Holiday Cookie Stroll! Purchase any 5 cookies from any of the official cookie stroll locations noted in your Passport, making sure to collect a matching stamp for each cookie purchased. Once you’ve collected 5 stamps, bring the stamped Passport to Holiday Sweets & Treats for a complimentary completer cookie! How fun is that? This fun activity is great for the kids, and can be completed at your own leisure. You can also bring back your stamped Passport to Epcot at any time during the festival to complete your stroll.

Comments

  • Is any of the food kosher

  • Your guys really missed the opportunity to continue down your path of growing awesomeness from Food & Wine festival. So dissapointed to see that there isn’t one vegan option available. Hopefully someone sees these many requests for vegan options!

  • We just went to the Food and Wine Festival last night and enjoyed four of the vegan options. I’m so disappointed we won’t have anything to try for this holiday festival.
    🙁

  • It looks great to me but….any chance a few places will add some vegan/vegetarian options (aside from cookies)? I am neither but taking my two daughters that are and it is disappointing that there is nothing for them. I hope some attention is given to this in the future as it is a growing population and there are so many alternative choices available to use in recipes. Just a little something, anything, so they are included. A lot of people have dairy and egg allergies too so it’s not just vegans that are being ignored here.

  • Also disappointed that there seems not to be an option for vegans.

  • Awesome! Are most of the items available as Dining snack credits?

  • I can’t wait to try everything out!

  • There are no vegan options and the vegetarian options seem to mostly consist of cookies. :/

Also, while I appreciate including Jews, could we maybe have food items associated with Chanukah rather than random Jewish delicatessen items? Chanukah is the time for donut holes (sufganiyot) and potato latkes, and I am sure you could even find versions of both that don’t contain eggs so that vegans have an option.

  • No vegan options? How disappointing. 🙁

  • I’m curious whether or not any of the vegetarian items are also vegan so that a wider audience could enjoy them.

  • Amazing! I am on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting the list of holiday foods to be found around Disneyland Resort (like the incredible list we got for Halloween Time), especially since our Festival of Holidays starts first and lasts longer than the one at Walt Disney World!!!

  • Thanks for another great post, Alex! Can’t wait to have some of these awesome eats!

    Sam
    (another Foodie from Hendersonville!!)

  • Where do I begin?

Ok, it is becoming very apparent that my family and I not only have to move to FL, but within the actual confines of Walt Disney World!

I am sincere when I say this, if WDW could offer food/goodies delivery to out-of-state I would be a frequent customer!!!

  • Looks delicious! When will the Food Guide to the Festival of Holidays in DCA be coming to the blog?

  • This looks awesome!! I can’t wait to see the menus for the Festival of Holidays at DCA!
