The All-New ‘Disney Junior Dance Party!’ Show Opens December 22 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Beginning December 22, families with little ones visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have more reason than ever to get on their feet and start dancing! The all-new “Disney Junior Dance Party!” live show will rock the park with high-energy songs, dazzling special effects, new friends and beloved characters including Mickey Mouse himself.

In the show, DJ Deejay and host Finn Fiesta invite everyone in for the party, creating an incredible interactive atmosphere for kids to sing, dance and play along with favorite Disney Junior stars like Doc McStuffins, Timon from “The Lion Guard,” and Vampirina from the hit Disney Junior series, “Vampirina.” And of course, Mickey Mouse races in from “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” just in time for the big finale!

For fans of “Disney Junior Dance Party!” at Disneyland Resort, I’ve got news for you, too. The one and only Vampirina will be joining the show at Disney California Adventure park starting February 1, 2019!

  • Sounds great, except Really bummed no more Sophia the First… 🙁

  • Love that there’s an update but we’re really disappointed to see Sophia the First go too! Especially to be replaced by Vampirina, which we don’t let our toddler or preschooler watch. And honestly even when they have seen little music videos with the “friendly” scary characters our kids don’t like that there are ghosts and vampires.

  • My kids are going to love this. They love the dance parties. It would be kinda nice to have one a little later at night though.

  • I understand that this attraction is most popular early in the day, but it’d be great if it was open until park close – ESPECIALLY on the first day and during the busy holiday season when little ones will likely be active later. Thanks!

  • Does this mean that prior to 12/22 there will be no Disney Jr Dance Party show? I believe the current show just ended or is ending soon.

  • Sounds great, but sad to see no Sofia the First– isn’t she still incredibly popular with the Toddler set (and their parents too)? And such a great role model to boot!

    • Dustin – Although Sofia the First won’t be part of the show when it opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can still meet her in the Animation Courtyard, just outside the theater.

  • Do you know when fastpasses will be available to book? Or schedule of show times?

    • Nakeisha – I’ve checked in with partners on that team, and they told me showtimes should be posted today. Fastpass for the show will be available for you once you’re within your booking window.
