The holidays are in full swing and some of the most beloved happenings at the Disneyland Resort are taking place at Disney California Adventure park. To make sure you don’t miss one single thing, the Disney Parks Moms Panelists are here to offer their best tips and recommendations for making the most of their favorite seasonal experiences.

“As a family of Disney foodies, exploring Disney Festival of Holidays’ Festive Foods Marketplace is a must-do to taste savory and sweet holiday favorites from a variety of cultures!” exclaims Courtney. “With the Sip and Savor Pass, you can redeem eight coupons to try food and beverages at the marketplace locations sprinkled throughout Disney California Adventure park. My husband and I love sampling the diverse cuisine, and it’s a great way to expose our kids to new flavors. A few of my favorites are the Braised Pork Belly Adobo, the Eggnog Wreath Eclair, and the Shrimp and Grits with Andouille Sausage. My little ones are big fans of the Holiday Stuffing Mac & Cheese and the ‘Hot Cocoa’ Marshmallow Macaron.”

The Three Caballeros in the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party at Disney California Adventure park

And while Jennifer L. agrees with Courtney that the Festive Food Marketplace is a must do, she also loves a good street party!

“Our favorite festival experience is the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party. This energetic extravaganza boasts an array of talented musicians, dancers, and larger-than-life puppets with a special appearance by the Three Caballeros. Little ones will love dancing along with these colorful characters to the vivacious music.”

Meeting Elena of Avalor at Paradise Park in Disney California Adventure park

Speaking of little ones, Courtney says her preschooler was thrilled to experience Princess Elena’s Musical Grand Arrival during their recent visit to Festival of Holidays! “Her Highness gets a festive royal welcome to Disney California Adventure park every afternoon. Immediately after the musical party, adoring fans can meet Elena of Avalor in person at Paradise Park to hear tales of her kingdom, so bring your best royal smiles and don’t forget your autograph book.”

Mom Pro Tip from Courtney: “Be on the lookout for the rosy-cheeked Holiday Toy Drummers who appear in Paradise Gardens Park several times a day to deliver an energetic performance. These living wooden soldiers have lots of comical tricks up their sleeves! My kids love pausing to watch their silly musical antics and dance along to their one-of-a-kind beat.”
